    10m FT8 grabber

    Posted: 30 Apr 2021 09:07 AM PDT http://g3xbm-qrp.blogspot.com/2021/04/10m-ft8-grabber.html

Before long, I would like to add a grabber on my website to show the
stations I am spotting on 10m FT8. The page is already there, but I don''t
yet know how to do this! 😁
As a PC novice this has to be really, really simple. Steve G1KQH is also
    after the answer.
If you know a very easy way to do this, please let me know!
What I really want is to be able to show the PSKreporter map screen that I
    can see.
    See https://sites.google.com/site/g3xbmqrp3/10grab .
At the moment, the grabs are being manually uploaded.

At 0555z I turned on my 10m FT8 RX with the tiny indoor loop antenna. The 10FT8R RX is again being used. No spots yet.

UPDATE 1520z: 42 stations spotted so far today with the 10FT8R 10m FT8 RX

    10m FT8 grabber

One of the new features that is possible on the new Google Sites is embedding. Some browsers do not support this for fear of viruses or malware
on the embedded sites. I have embedded PSKreporter maps on my new web
pages which normally points to what I see on 10m FT8 RX. So you can see
    what I am spotting here.
Just occasionally I may be looking at something else.
    See

    Storms

    Posted: 21 Jun 2021 03:38 AM PDT http://g3xbm-qrp.blogspot.com/2021/06/storms.html

Amateur radio gear can be badly affected by nearby storms. Often, when
there are storms nearby, there can be damaging power surges. I am always nervous with nearby storms. My normal practice is to disconnect everything until the storms have well passed. At the moment, the immediate risk seems
    to have passed.

As usual, whilst doing some housework, I am monitoring 10m FT8 RX with the
tiny indoor loop. At 1030z, 106 stations spotted.
UPDATE 1104z: 136 stations spotted with the furthermost CT3MD (2521km) on Madeira.
UPDATE 1902z: 402 stations spotted on RX with the furthermost PT2GTI

If you want to see the stations being copied here try this link. If your browser stops embedded pages try the link given instead.
    See https://sites.google.com/view/g3xbm4/home/hf-mf-and-lf/10m-ft8-grabber .
    Or try https://pskreporter.info/pskmap.html?preset&callsign=g3xbm&txrx=rx&band=27999999-31000000&timerange=86400&mapCenter=16.191222112538867,36.66666666666666,2.925736525647676
which should be the direct permalink.
Just occasionally, the grabber may be looking at something else, although mostly it will be on 10m FT8.

    Oscar 100 activity

    Posted: 19 Jan 2022 11:22 PM PST http://g3xbm-qrp.blogspot.com/2022/01/oscar-100-activity.html

Every few weeks I look at the webSDR at Goonhilly in Cornwall to judge
activity on the narrowband transponder of this geosynchronous satellite.
The last look was at 1845z on January 19th.

Compared with the last time I looked it seems busier, but it is still very quiet. At this time, in a European evening, I would expect activity to be highest.
