    Hello All,

I am once again looking for nominations for a variety of awards to be
presented at our annual Nebraska ARRL Hamvention. Please email back to
me at nebraskasm@hotmail.com with your nomination. Cutoff is May 1st.

Nebraska Ham of the Year. Any male ham radio operator age 18 or older
as of 12/31/2022. A ham who has made contributions to the art of
Amateur Radio in the State of Nebraska.

Nebraska YL Ham of the Year. Any female ham radio operator age 18 or
older as of 12/31/2022. A ham who has made contributions to the art of
Amateur Radio in the State of Nebraska.

Young Ham of the Year. Open to any ham radio operator male or female
and is 18 years of age or younger as of 12/31/2022. For their
contributions to the art of Amateur Radio in the State of Nebraska.

Gwen Anderson K0GAA Memorial Award. For the individual who does a lot
of the behind the scenes work and doesn't seek any recognition. This
person would be the glue to an event and makes sure it goes off without
a hitch. This can be a ham or non-ham who has helped a club or event
    succeed behind the scenes.

Skip Miller W0KVM Lifetime Achievement Award. For the ham radio
operator who has been licensed for a least 25 years as of 12/31/2022.
Who has contributed a lifetime of experience to the art and preservation
of Amateur Radio. Who has made a positive impact to the hobby in the
    State of Nebraska and abroad.

Special Services Award. This is for the person(s) who make an impact in
the community. And they just happen to be a ham radio operator. It
isn't necessarily because of their ham radio skills, but rather that
they make an impact in their community. And because they are a ham,
they may be recognized for their efforts. Think of any volunteers to
other organizations where they have made a positive impact.
