I was sure the little doodlies for my Nano VNA would get lost if I didn't
make a home for them.

How did/do commercial/high power transmitters suppress harmonics?

I just started experimenting/looking into radio broadcasting stuff (not
pirate radio, just over a few cm with a signal generator) and i was
wondering how big radio stations suppress harmonics. For low power stuff i assume that you could just use a bandpass, but idk if you can just scale
that up to those super powerful kW transmitters. Google isnt very helpful
and id love to understand this. thanks!
tl;dr what do powerful transmitters use to suppress harmonics/how do they
do it? submitted by /u/Little_Capsky

Getting restarted

I want to dip my foot back into amateur radio after being off the air for
at least the last two decades due primarily to neighbor issues. Prior to getting off the air, I worked all bands from 160m to 23cm at anywhere from
5w to >1kW on multi-band HF verticals to long boom yagis and loopers on VHF/UHF, plus a bunch of satellite work on AO-13 and others with AZ/AL
rotators and circularly polarized antennas for 2m and 70cm. I still have my Yaesu FT-736R with 2m, 1.25m, 70cm, and 23cm modules, an IC-706, and
various other radios not worth mentioning.
Im looking at trying FT8 on the low bands and wanted some input on
suggested equipment and somewhat stealthy antenna for FT8 on HF through 2m
or 70cm.
