    Looking for Advice on Reliable UHF/VHF Radio That Can Handle Digital Modes

    Ive tried various solutions for APRS and Winlink that involve a Baofeng and
    a dongle without much luck. I can hear APRS data bursts with my but my
    Baofeng only occasionally decodes the signal. Ive only gotten it to
    transmit APRS once or twice. I cant even get that far with Winlink, which
    is the digital mode Im most interested in. I got a used radio on eBay that
    had an RS232 port, but it turned out the radio was defective. Im having
    trouble finding a digital mode friendly UHF/VHF radio with either an RS232
    or a USB data port.
    Im not looking for HF support at the moment, I just dont have space to
    deploy an antenna of the appropriate size. I do have a Winlink station on 2 meters (or 70cm?) not far from my house. Can anyone here suggest a make and model radio that would work for my intended use case thats readily

    Question about multiple connected magnetic loop antennas

    What is the deal with these? They are connected, continuous pieces in
    multiple loops. Does this extend the total circumference? is there a

    Does anyone have any idea where to find a mic for a FT-100 Yaseau radio? It requires a p/n MH-36B6JS which is unique to that radio only.
