    Yo, freaks.
    Did another three day trip up to Whistler, midwinter conditions. Vail sucks and is cutting costs everywhere, but it was decent skiing, albeit annoying to see how much those scumbags are ripping off their customers.
    I am ashamed to have once been The Prophet, they ruined everything sacred.
    I have a do it again before I die list, and skiing the Epic hills and hitting forty days for the years was on it. No more. Already bought the Ikon for next year, Vail is as dishonest as the assholes who used to populate this shithole.
    Not done yet, either, might sneak up to Stevens or Whistler again.
    I also have a do it before I die list, and for damn sure, having one of you freaks spew your shit in person is never going to happen. Never has, never will.

    Today's moment of zen: as I have bragged, I checked off a major do it again before I die bucket list goal this year. Forty days of skiing, and still counting, might get a few more in this month.
    Ran across a web app that calculates the cost of skiing. I bought the cheaper Epic Pass, mostly because I have good friends in Sun Valley and Whistler. Wired in both towns. Checked off several Colorado and Utah areas. Vail royally screwed their pass
    holders across their portfolio, lousy maintenance, closed runs and lifts, surly employees and not enough of them, etc. Epic failure. But I know enough to avoid most of the hassles, even though they ripped me off.
    So I was delighted to have the app do the math and inform me of just how much I screwed them. Made the most of the pass.
    789 bucks for the pass. 32 days. Retail ticket value of 5717. Savings of 4928. Average ticket cost: 24.69.
    Some free days, scattered here and there.
    Spent a good thirty nights in Dirtbag VI. Four nights in motels when showers were mandatory. Less than two hundred.
    I am a master dirtbag. So proud of myself. I deserve a medal or a plaque or a framed certificate of accomplishment.
