Mancini own goal (pending VAR review). Let's see what happens.

VAR found nothing wrong. Leverkusen with 6 minutes +injury time left to preserve their unbeaten record or their chance at the treble.

    Leverkusen watch on!

    65 minutes in:

    Atalanta - Marseille 2-0 (agg: 3-1)

    Leverkusen - Roma 0-1 (agg. 2-1)
Now penalty to Roma... 0-2. It's all tied in the aggregate, maybe I should have posted this in the Leverkusen Watch thread.

(Interesting question: if Leverkusen pull one back, will they defend the aggregate lead in the final minutes, or will they go for the equalizer to preserve their unbeaten streak?)

It helped that Roma had pushed everyone forward in search of the equalizer.

My question to myself when it was 2-0 Roma (that second penalty was of
the kind that drives me up the wall - saying that the arm was in an
unnatural position is beyond stupid, as he had just pushed off after
colliding with his team-mate. This was compounded by the fact the idiot
English commentator could not pronounce Paredes properly) was, what if
it ends 2-0, goes to Extra time, and Leverkusen scores 2. Does that
still count as continuing the unbeaten streak ? Any precedents ?

I think the answer is yes. For matches that go to extra-time, the final score is the score at the end of the 120 minutes.

In 2011-2012, Juventus was carrying an unbeaten streak when they met Milan in the Coppa Italia semifinal: Juve won the first leg in San Siro 2-1, only for Milan to return the favor in Torino. It went to extra time, and Vucinic equalized, sending Juve to
the final. Galliani tried to claim that Milan had interrupted Juve's unbeaten streak, but the general consensus (there's not really an "official" definition of a streak) was that Juve's streak was still on.

Juve finished the Serie A season unbeaten (and won the championship), but eventually lost the Coppa Italia final to Napoli, so they did not have a fully unbeaten season (they did not play in European competitions that year).
