It's 2-0 to United, but I wouldn't write off Manchester City
    yet!

later we have the Pretnders vs lowly Kaiserslautern. I expect
kaiserslautern to win, the Pretenders always lose finals.

If you're going to include minor cup finals you should have
mentioned Celtic v Rangers in the Scottish FA Cup Final that's
    also going on today.

    Yes.

Traditionally they always were on at the same time, but in more
recent years the broadcasters and/or the police, have moved the
    kick-off times around.

    Not this year though.

SO Manchester win the FA cup 2-1 as for Manchester, they can take some
solace in being the best team in the fourth best liga in Europe.

As for Scotland, Glasgow wins the FA cup!!!!!!

AS for the Womens UEFA cup, you will be happy to know that both teams
are not from the same city.

Barca v Lyon, kicking off now. match is being played in Spain

The truth is that K-town is essentially a div 3 team that even the
Pretenders should beat and at ht they are leading 1-0.

But they did go down to ten men late in the half, followed by a decent kaiserslautern chance, so yeah the Pretenders could still lose this.
which would be a shame since Heiedenheim are in Konfrenza if they win.

They're not the pretenders anymore. They've won the double now! The
only surprise (other than the fact that they did it without losing a
single match) was that it was only 1-0 in the Cup final.

Big Copa day, you have the El Classico, Copa del Rey style and the
    English Copa A.F. Semi finals.

The Crystal Palaces beating the Aston Villas 3-0. Palaces always beat
    Villas, everyone knows that.

For whatever reason, not a lot of tv coverage of the Copa final? Or so
it seems if I believe Live Soccer TV. Here on the melting Iceberg, we
get to watch the FA cup for free practically.

Neither Lewandowski nor Mbappe starting. Mbappe on the bench, but I
have to assume Lewandowski is injured. Or are they actually resting him
    for the midweek?

Not sure why the old senile Real coach is not stating Mbappe? He may
not remember having seen him play before? He always looks lost to me.

    Barca 1 -0 Real Ht

The final is being held in Sevilla

I would say the Young Guns deserve the 1-0 lead.

Barca win 3-2 in ET with a late goal just as it looked like it would go
    to Penals.

Real were better in the 2nd half thanks to Mbappe coming on, what a
tactical masterclass move by Ancelotti to bring him on and of course
Modric and the Turkish wunderkind. At the end of the match not only did Ancelotti not know where he was or what the score was, but could not
control his unruly insane players on the bench. I think Rudiger and
Vini jr threw something at the ref.

If ever one wanted proof of how over rated managers are in football, you
just have to look at this senile old man who has no idea what is going
    on around him.

Apparently there was some pre game issues that Real had with this Ref.
