33 minutes - Ukraine finally start to play like a team in danger of
elimination and produce an attacking play which ends up hitting the
Slovakian post. They need to create a few more chances like that.

79 minutes - since equalising Ukraine have really grown into this match
and make it count when a chipped pass finds Yaremchuk, who controls the
ball with one touch before tapping it past the keeper to put Ukraine 2-1
up! Ukraine are back in this Euros!

Austria do look dangerous when attacking.

Poland look to have completely messed up their Euros.

I think that means should France and Holland draw tonight Poland would
    be eliminated.

    Also if France win.

    Ciao,

    FT:

    Netherlands 0 - France 0

About the most interesting thing was Netherlands having a goal ruled out
due to a player in an offside position allegedly interfering with play
as the shot went in - but the replays show the Dutch player wasn't
stopping the keeper diving where he was stood and all the pundits seem
to think the goal should have stood.

The result means Netherlands and France have probably qualified for the
second round and Poland become the first team to be eliminated.

Is it just me, or are Poland ALWAYS the first team to be eliminated??
Well perhaps not always, but it feels like we've been here before.

I really enjoyed this game from the stands (also, not in as high demand
as ESP-ITA, so got good tickets in the central stand). Slovakia was
excellent in the first half (keep an eye on that guy Haraslin), but then
they tired out. Maybe a draw would have been more appropriate, but
credit to the Ukrainians for fighting back.

Majority of the stadium was pro-Ukraine, but I felt the Slovakian fans
were more genuine, and had some good tifo.

We were hoping to catch the evening games in one of the fan zones, but
it was raining cats and dogs, so ended up in a pub with a bunch of
Scottish fans (they were everywhere). "No Scotland No Party" and
"Scotland's going home" the most popular chants.

And that's the end of my Euro, will be flying back today:-/ Short but
    sweet

BTW hats off to Szczęsny for his sportsmanship.
He basically conceded a penalty and received a
yellow for getting kicked in the face, and took it
    with remarkable good grace.
