It feels like it was only last week the tournament started, now it's
    almost over :(

Anyway, more extra time and another penalty shootout?

    Could be.
Spain has looked good so far, but this match could be different.
Carvajal's stupid second yellow and resultant sending off means they
only have oldie Jesus Navas as a designated right back, which is
worrisome when he will be up against even an off-colour Mbappe.
I also thing Koundé and T. Hernandez will be a bit better at keeping
Nico Williams and Lamine Yamal in check than, say, Raum and Kimmich.

I am really looking forward to this one, but expecting to be
disappointed as it might be a bit of a stalemate.

It'll be an exciting, end-to-end affair, 3-3 after 90 minutes, then
anything can happen in extra time...nah, who am I kidding?

If France wins, then the world is a dour terrible place on the verge of
climate death and war destruction While if Spain wins, than the world
is good and the heat is great and we love massive storms and everyone is
happy and we are all brothers and there are no more wars.

Attack vs Defence, we finally find out for the first time since the
beginning of football which method is the best.

WE are predicting a 7-1 Spain victory, which I know has never happened
in a major tournament semi final, but we think the times they are a changin.

I thought that second yellow didn’t really matter
since his previous booking meant he was suspended
    for the semifinal regardless?

Anything can happen. Spain will almost certainly dominate midfield.
Depending on how many they can actually score, which is always a big
unknown, and how good the french counters will be - the result is wide
open. Which makes it even more interesting. I just would have wanted it
in the World Cup instead of here. But you can't have everything.

Indeed. Best half played so far, probably. All 3 goals were very good.
Spain's reaction magnificent. If they play like this I don't know who
    can stop them.
Let's hope the second half will be just as good.

After an exciting first half, the second has been much quieter, with
France unable to create much, and Spain happy to mostly sit back. Not
Italying by any stretch of the imagination, but less defending by
tiki-taka than we were used to.

France seemed to have no urgency in injury time, it was as if they were
    the team 2-1 up.
