• How long before NWSL matches are available to =?UTF-8?B?d2F0Y2g/?=

How long do I have to wait till the USian women's league matches are
available to watch via the NWSL web-site?

I tried to watch Gotham v Portland Thorns today, which was played last
night, and they didn't seem to have any of the quarter-finals avaiable
to watch. What was really annoying was that they just had no information
about it at all, they didn't actually say 'not available yet' or
anything, so I looked all over the place to find a link to the match,
and inevitably saw the result of the match before I've had a chance to
    watch the match!

Anyone know whether it was a good match or not?

The answer to this question (and any other question about where and when
to watch matches) is always "it depends where you live."

TV and streaming rights are extremely fragmented, and what may be
available in one country (or even within different areas of the same
country) is not necessarily available elsewhere.

Yeah, not great marketing by the NWSL. They really should make
highlights available soon after the match is over.

Based on the highlights, it was a pretty exciting affair.

Don't tell me they have blackouts in soccer as well ?

Buttman and Daly prefer small regions for NHL broadcasting as it means
more $ for the owners. FIFA are you watching ? This is surely the
blueprint for every sport that wants to make some bucks.
