the moment I seem to be on the wrong end of dodgy VAR calls plus
the balls they are using in the selected leagues are way too
light. <shrugs> It seems I'm just unlucky... maybe one day?

I'd pick the League of Ireland and the Irish League though...
just to confuse the hell out of people. :-)

Shamrock Rovers have been quite impressive in the Conference league.

I wish we did have more variety in the leagues chosen. Maybe 2nd or 3rd Bundesliga, or French Ligue 2 ? Or the Belgian league which seems
suitably unpredictable this year, as is the Swiss league.

Kind of, the League of Ireland season runs from February to
November... so there is some overlap with the traditional
European football seasons. But, with the big European clubs
playing friendlies and overseas tours in "the summer" nowadays,
you could just say that the League of Ireland has a decent
"winter break"!

The Irish League (now the NIFL) season runs from August to
March, so there is a few months where the two Irish leagues
overlap. So they are the two leagues I'd pick if my choice ever
occurred during that time... just to be different obviously!

an English league if the choice ever came around to me... So if
