What have bananas got to do with German football?!

Baxk in December, someone in the Union Berlin crowd threw a lighter at
the Bochum keeper, who went down and was taken off. After the match
Bochum complained and the 1-1 was turned into a 0-3.

Union naturally appealed, and we're still waiting for the final verdict.

Back in the day (can't remember the year), St. Pauli fans threw bananas
at Oliver Kahn. Hence the warning against repeating that.
