An interesting set of QF participants. Several have not won the FA cup
ever, and others not for a very long time. I hope City loses somewhere
along the way, though it seems unlikely.

    Last wins

Bournemouth (never won) (never won league)

Fulham (never won - runners up once) (never won league)

Brighton (never won - runners up once) (never won league)

Palace (never won, runners up twice) (never won league

Preston last win (of 2) 1938, League champs twice in 19th Century

Villa last win (of 7) 1957, League champs 7 times mostly ancient
    except 1981.

Forest last win (of 2) 1959. One league (1978)

    Ipswich 1978 (league 1962)

Man City 7 FA Cups, 10 Championships

Nottingham Forest won against Ipswich after penalties.

Brighton away is a dangerous draw for Forest, the memory of the recent
7-0 defeat to Forest will be fresh in Brighton's mind and they'll be
    gunning for revenge.

Forest have reached the quarter finals of the FA Cup without once
picking their first XI, which is no doubt part of the reason they
struggled to get past third tier Exeter and relegation threatened
Ipswich (who themselves didn't pick a full strength side, presumably
because they're saving their best players for the relegation battle).
It's a sad reflection on how seriously the clubs view the FA Cup that
even a side who hasn't won it in 66 years won't commit their strongest
    side to the competition.

All things being equal you'd expect Manchester City to win it,
but of course the FA Cup doesn't always go like that.

I wouldn't mind seeing Aston Villa or Fulham winning it though.
