And when Darwin Nunez walked up, didn't yer just know he was
going to miss!
If the person at Liverpool FC that bought Darwin Nunez thought
he was the answer, I'd love to know what the question was...

I wanted to call it Real’s CL plot armour, but
thought the exact same thing.
Ciao,

Of course it was. Looks like Real Madrid CF are going to win the UEFA CL
once again.

Why no love for Darwin, it is not his fault they lost.

Depends if Arsenal can stop them and I believe they can.

Second year running they advance on penalties from a game they would
have lost on away goals before the rule change.
The real action is in Lugano, where Lugano and NK Celje are now going to penalties to determine access to the ConfLeague QFs. Celje won the first
leg 1-0, Lugano went 1-0, then 3-1 and then 4-2 up before Celje sent the
tie to ET with a 95' penalty. Then Celje took the aggregate lead in ET,
only for Lugano to tie it again. 5-4 after 120 minutes, on to PKs

Did you really just type that Dave? Arsenal? Seriously?! Still,
as an Arse supporter you've got to believe in them I suppose.
In fairness, over two legs they do have a chance. Without a
[fit] top quality striker it would seem highly improbable
though. Unless Raheem Sterling can finally deliver of course...
Hopefully thinking of Champions League glory will distract the
Arse for Sunday's game! It's not like ye are winning the Premier
League now anyway, so surely it's the perfect time for Mikel
Arteta to rest some players... ;-)

Lugano misses three of its four penalties, and the Slovenian champs
advance to the next round.
