    It looks like the UK are going to get to host the Women's World
    Cup in 2035... the cynical me thinks there's still time for some
    bribes to pour in to FIFA before the official vote later this
    year.

    I see this announcement as Gianni Infantino's way of telling the
    other potential bidding nations to get their fingers out and
    "offer me something"!

    I've just been reading about this in Wikipedia. Why was the bid
    restricted to members of UEFA and CAF?

    And why do the USA get to host it for a 3rd time in 2031 when so many
    countries haven't hosted it once yet?
