    Not really, no. But Adam Silver has tried to reduce at least the perception of the NBA being rigged.

    Not really, no. But Adam Silver has tried to reduce at least the perception of the NBA being rigged.

    The NBA is not rigged.
    (remembers that his oldest brother hasn't covered the NBA for an NBA team's home newspaper - well, what was then its home newspaper - in something like a decade now, so there's no need to protect anybody any more)

    Besides, the way the Nuggets played in game 5, you were think they were ordered by the league to extend the series...too bad the Heat played pretty worse in the fourth quarter.

    Also, you're missing the obvious story: Nikola Jokic. Supposedly, nobody saw him getting drafted, as it was in the second round and whoever was covering the draft was showing a Taco Bell commercial at the time. Okay, he's the fifth player from Serbia to
    get a ring, but still...

    I stopped believing in the NBA when Isaiah Thomas got an inbound pass near his own basket, started walking upcourt with the ball in his hand while he chatted with the referee, took about 4 steps then finally started dribbling and that was "ok". Must have
    been 1992 or so.

    I think I saw about two minutes of The Finals, saw at least six uncalled fouls, including at least two Flagrant 1's, and shut it off.
