Oh, and BTW, exactly why you are a Republican support is quite intentional on the Democrats' part: There are many states, given the chance, who would murder lessers (Blacks, LGBTQ's, the useless, the non-conformant...) openly and with the sanction of
not only government, but God Himself.

The 14th Amendment, which repealed the 10th (and did so through a Civil War, of which the 14th was a spoil imposed upon the South), aided in this -- but it still took somewhere between 50 and 150 years to impose the civil and human rights thereon.

That's a function that they've wanted to do the same killing of lessers they saw Trump (as a braggadocious outsider) willing to want them to do -- and this goes back to Gingrich on the Contract For/On America.

They saw Trump as the host of America's New Reality Show: The Purge.

Then you're stuck.

And that's the problem with the Third Party concept in this country. Except in extremely rare cases (and not nearly enough to get any political traction (which see Independent Sanders caucusing with and two primary Presidential runs as a Democrat!),
there isn't enough power there to gain traction.

Hence, you are stuck with the religious fundies who invoke the Bible, etc. and so forth and so on.

I understand you want to think differently on a lot of subjects, but, at some point, you're stuck one way or the other.
