• What I do not and cannot understand about J6...

From Michael Falkner@21:1/5 to All on Fri Jun 10 19:53:42 2022
You had to realize marching on Washington to reverse the election was going to require gunfire, violence, and bloodshed.

And, under 2A, as a MILITARY/MILITIA exercise -- not in the purview of the civilian courts.

So why the cowardice? Anyone with an intelligence quotient of a garden kumquat would realize that the "Fathers Intended" Constitutional (and Declaration of Independence "Course of Human Events") had been successfully met!

Especially given that it was a large-scale at least incursion, why the fuck didn't you shoot, especially when it was clear you had help, you had top-level backing, and you had breached the Capitol for the first time since the War of 1812!!!

I notice none of the Republicans have responded to this.

    I haven't watched it.

I disagree wholeheartedly, for a number of reasons.

    1) I don't believe we have a functional government in any stripe of what the Republicans would want. I don't think I have to talk about all the inflation, the disorder, and all that stuff -- much less the allowance of various "others" we are starting to
see open killing sprees at least started against -- that group in Idaho being the latest!

    2) The concept that the election was stolen and that America needed to be saved. This raises any number of questions in response:

    a) How can anyone count on the fact that they will get that November result you speak of (the "people's coup") if they are that certain the 2020 election was that stolen? How can you even hold an election in November if you think this one was so corrupt?

    b) Presume you can. Short of my proposal of revoking Electoral College consent and throwing the Presidency to the Supreme Court (or assassination), Biden or Harris is going to be President for the next two years - a situation I'm not sure you could
either tolerate or think America survives!

    c) How do you then reverse the two years of Biden without a mass bloodletting of the Left even if you can surmount the first two? The fact that you believe the "excess money" thrown at "us" is a good part of the reason for the inflation (and then the
fraudulent nature, many believe, of COVID) would imply that many of us need to die anyway.

So I disagree with your pretense horribly. Sorry.

For the record, I'm not talking about the hearings.

I'm talking about that it's clear the J6 demonstrators had help within the Congress and the backing of then-President Trump.

And, as my therapist said to me at the end of my first session: "Until lions learn to write, stories of hunting will always glorify the hunter."

So why didn't they shoot, consummate the coup, set off the nationwide bloodletting they've wanted for 30 years, and truly (in their minds) Make America Great Again?

Especially given what we are finding out, over the course of time, the cowardice of the White Right and the J6 people is just beyond any sense of intelligent comprehension!

If you'd opened fire and basically shot the Congress, you probably win!!!

Because you're either flinging bait by dumping the whole chum bucket overboard or unable to posit an argument that has any basis in reality. Either way, responding is an exercise in futility.

No, I'm sorry. When I'm dealing with a political party who believes everybody but them is a fucking groomer, a fucking useless eater, or worse, I'm sorry.

Shoot us or shut the fuck up.
