"The unemployment rate increased by 0.3 percentage point to 3.7 percent in May, and the number of
unemployed persons rose by 440,000 to 6.1 million."

Let's see, 440,000 vs 225,000. Hmmm, that difference is 215,000 FEWER jobs.

Apparently so. Tommy can than his brainwashing from FOX Propaganda to not
be understanding that they’re different metrics which don’t work at all in the fashion
that he is alluding, because one isn’t forced to always be seeking employment.

Nope. Unfortunately, the unemployment rate doesn’t work the way that you’re trying
to claim, because it’s numerator is based on those who are looking for employment,
not all those who aren’t employed. That’s why there can be a huge increase in new hires
reported while the unemployment rate also increases.
