    LOL! Are you SERIOUS???

Just trying to figure out your claim, Tommy.

For example, producing more oil domestically will just lower slightly the price at the pump for US consumers. Lower domestic prices for US
consumers doesn't hurt Russia, because there's still the world market
and even if the US increase in production shaves a few points off of
the +25% increase in the price of a barrel of oil, Russia is still making more money today than they were in 2021.

So if you're not being batshit crazy, you must mean some other mechanism, so explain the mechanism for how Russia is going to be 'hurt', as per your claim.

    -hh

So, do you think that importing 538,000 barrels of oil PER DAY from Russia is a GOOD IDEA?

So we'll add basic arithmetic to the things you don't understand.

    Oil is currently $92/barrel.

538,000 barrels of oil at that price is a little less than 50 MILLION.

Plus Tommy’s also wrong by similarly large orders of magnitude about
how much more oil could be pumped via XL: the XL’s existence wasn’t to pump more oil, but to transfer the current production level more cheaply.

…and that’s before recalling that the Canadian tar sand oil is mostly (IIRC ~90%) NOT used domestically in the US: it’s an export product.
As such, it doesn’t materially increase domestic oils by enough to have
any meaningful impact on domestic prices.

I'm certainly curious as to how Russian oil imports to the US affect the
price of Tea in Chin....oops, I meant to say, price of healthcare in UK!

In the meantime, Tommy's also trying to claim that Canadian Tar Sand Oil
that's already flowing to market will somehow magically double if we build
the Keystone XL bypass line to give the producers a cheaper way to get that same oil to market.

Next up will probably be a claim that domestic oil production is being strangled
by a lack of drilling leases ... even though there's currently over 7,000 such leases
already approved & sold that today are in the hands of oil corporations for them
to go drill on ... but are currently still sitting idle. But somehow, increasing the
amount of idle inventory through more leases will cut gasoline prices next week! /s

    HEALTHCARE, idiot (what a WASTE)!

LOL, you are too demented to even comprehend why and how you are bing ridiculed.

I'm certainly curious as to how Russian oil imports to the US affect the price of Tea in Chin....oops, I meant to say, price of healthcare in UK!

In the meantime, Tommy's also trying to claim that Canadian Tar Sand Oil that's already flowing to market will somehow magically double if we build the Keystone XL bypass line to give the producers a cheaper way to get that same oil to market.

I wonder how you think that it is a GOOD IDEA to import Russian oil, and sending
them billions of dollars in the process.

As soon as you explain how Russian oil imports to the US affect the price of UK healthcare!

Free clue to Tommy: it was Irving who claimed they were going golfing.

Meantime, you've still not explained your claim of how Russian oil imports
to the US affect the price of UK healthcare.

Oh, and to circle back to Keystone XL, here's a good analyst summary on it:

    <https://twitter.com/cm_energyintel/status/1500513782598012929>

The TL;DR is that there's just not a huge tank of crude oil up in Canada that's just waiting for pipeline capacity to get it shipped to market.
As one of the commenters noted: "Keystone would narrow gap [between]
WCS & WTI but not radically change picture."

Which is precisely what you've already been told: XL's reason to exist was merely
to be able to ship it cheaper, not increase total volume, to increase profit margins
    (for the Koch family).

There's no question mark, so it is a declaration from you, not a question.

So how about it, Tommy: just what point were you trying to make when
    you wrote the above?

FYI, it is quite dumb to claim that excess regulations are what have led to high oil prices,
rather than it being newfound capital discipline of oil companies after they went through
multiple years of producing too much oil at low prices...ie, "higher profit margins are good".

Naturally, this was also enabled by Trump when he arm-twisted the Saudis to cut OPEC
oil production back in April 2020, specifically to help out oil producers like Putin.

And, NO, Trump didn't "arm-twist the Saudis" to do anything (Fool,

'Special Report: Trump told Saudi: Cut oil supply or lose U.S. military
    support - sources'

    <https://www.reuters.com/article/us-global-oil-trump-saudi-specialreport-idUSKBN22C1V4>

'In an April 2 phone call, Trump told Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin
Salman that unless the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries
(OPEC) started cutting oil production, he would be powerless to stop
lawmakers from passing legislation to withdraw U.S. troops from the
kingdom, four sources familiar with the matter told Reuters.

The threat to upend a 75-year strategic alliance, which has not been
previously reported, was central to the U.S. pressure campaign that led
to a landmark global deal to slash oil supply as demand collapsed in the coronavirus pandemic - scoring a diplomatic victory for the White House.

Trump delivered the message to the crown prince 10 days before the
announcement of production cuts. The kingdom’s de facto leader was so
taken aback by the threat that he ordered his aides out of the room so
he could continue the discussion in private, according to a U.S. source
who was briefed on the discussion by senior administration officials.'

I wonder how you think that it is a GOOD

Hey Lyin' Asshole, I asked first.
The above quoted text shows otherwise, 🤡.

    -hh

Note that the Lyin' Asshole won't answer a SIMPLE
    QUESTION.
    As he correctly pointed out:

    You refused to answer first.

I thought you were fucking golfing - another lie by the
Fool. And, NO, the Lyin' Asshole didn't answer the
    question which I clearly asked.
You're more confused than usual, Sunshine.

I never said I was golf this weekend.

And you were asked a question first which you didn't
    answer.

I didn't say you were golf! You've been listening to that
idiot Fauci who said he is science!!
    You said:

"I thought you were fucking golfing".

And I never said I was.
Free clue to Tommy: it was Irving who claimed they were going
    golfing.

Meantime, you've still not explained your claim of how Russian
oil imports to the US affect the price of UK healthcare.

Oh, and to circle back to Keystone XL, here's a good analyst
    summary on it:

    <https://twitter.com/cm_energyintel/status/1500513782598012929>

The TL;DR is that there's just not a huge tank of crude oil up in Canada >>>> that's just waiting for pipeline capacity to get it shipped to
market. As one of the commenters noted: "Keystone would narrow
gap [between] WCS & WTI but not radically change picture."

Which is precisely what you've already been told: XL's reason
to exist was merely to be able to ship it cheaper, not increase
total volume, to increase profit margins (for the Koch
    family).

I never said that they did.
    Yeah, you did:

Your statement, which is still quoted at the very top of this post
still: "Hey Birdbrain, those "imports" are paying for your FUCKING
HEALTHCARE, idiot (what a WASTE)!" There's no question mark, so it
is a declaration from you, not a question.

So how about it, Tommy: just what point were you trying to make
    when you wrote the above?

FYI, it is quite dumb to claim that excess regulations are what
have led to high oil prices, rather than it being newfound capital
discipline of oil companies after they went through multiple years
of producing too much oil at low prices...ie, "higher profit
    margins are good".

Naturally, this was also enabled by Trump when he arm-twisted the
Saudis to cut OPEC oil production back in April 2020, specifically
to help out oil producers like Putin.

    -hh

LOL! Yes, regulations add cost to businesses - this is Econ 101. But
that is NOT all that Lyin' Biden did.
There are 9 THOUSAND drilling permits sitting idle, Sunshine.

And, NO, Trump didn't "arm-twist the Saudis" to do anything (Fool,
why are you demanding a reference?).
'Special Report: Trump told Saudi: Cut oil supply or lose U.S. military support - sources'

    <https://www.reuters.com/article/us-global-oil-trump-saudi-specialreport-idUSKBN22C1V4>

'In an April 2 phone call, Trump told Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin
Salman that unless the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) started cutting oil production, he would be powerless to stop lawmakers from passing legislation to withdraw U.S. troops from the
kingdom, four sources familiar with the matter told Reuters.

The threat to upend a 75-year strategic alliance, which has not been previously reported, was central to the U.S. pressure campaign that led
to a landmark global deal to slash oil supply as demand collapsed in the coronavirus pandemic - scoring a diplomatic victory for the White House.

Trump delivered the message to the crown prince 10 days before the announcement of production cuts. The kingdom’s de facto leader was so taken aback by the threat that he ordered his aides out of the room so
he could continue the discussion in private, according to a U.S. source
who was briefed on the discussion by senior administration officials.'

Aren't you tired of losing yet.

Hey Fool, do you REALLY believe that bullshit? If so I have a bridge I want to sell you. First, HOW MANY leases existed LAST YEAR? Second, tell me what the difference is between a LEASE and a PERMIT.

I wonder how you think that it is a GOOD
IDEA to import Russian oil, and sending
them billions of dollars in the process.
As soon as you explain how Russian oil

Hey Lyin' Asshole, I asked first.
The above quoted text shows otherwise, 🤡.

Note that the Lyin' Asshole won't answer a SIMPLE

    As he correctly pointed out:

    You refused to answer first.

I thought you were fucking golfing - another lie by the >>>>>>>>>>>> Fool. And, NO, the Lyin' Asshole didn't answer the

You're more confused than usual, Sunshine.

I didn't say you were golf! You've been listening to that

    You said:

And I never said I was.
Free clue to Tommy: it was Irving who claimed they were going

Meantime, you've still not explained your claim of how Russian >>>>>>>> oil imports to the US affect the price of UK healthcare.

Oh, and to circle back to Keystone XL, here's a good analyst

    <https://www.statesman.com/story/news/politics/politifact/2022/03/13/joe-biden-oil-industry-drilling-permits-fact-check/6986833001/>

    'Our ruling
Biden said the oil industry has "9,000 permits to drill now. They could
be drilling right now, yesterday, last week, last year."

Biden’s number is correct: There are 9,137 approved permits to drill on federal and Indian land, and the oil industry could use those permits
and drill. However, once the permit is approved, drilling doesn’t start overnight. Some companies choose not to drill for corporate reasons —
because they can raise funds from investors by not drilling on leases
    with proven reserves.'

Seems like Tommy's trying to introduce a Red Herring here, with his
"a lease isn't a permit" bit. Because of course they're not identical,
but why would this distinction attempt matter at all?

Because no corporation would ever go through the Permitting process
without first having obtained the land lease for said permit.

Thus, because one must always have land for the permit, it means that
when there's 9000+ approved permits, there must already be more than
9000 land leases already in place too.

This is basic Set Theory from 5th Grade that Tommy forgot ... eh? /s

This is basic Set Theory from 5th Grade that Tommy forgot ... eh? /s

The API accept the figures for permits as factual.

In addition if the API are not bothered about any distinction and are
using the terms synonymously then it is clear that any attempt to do
    otherwise is simply deflection.

IOW Betty knows he fucked up and is grasping at straws; in this case
the API have removed the straws from reach.

...and, NO, a LEASE IS NOT a PERMIT, Asshole - even a 5th grader would know that.

How wonderful it is to see Tommy try to dodge the point again.

    As was said above:

"...why would this distinction attempt matter at all?

Because no corporation would ever go through the Permitting process
without first having obtained the land lease for said permit."

So how about it Tommy? Is not every approved permit tied to a
    specific piece of leased land?

Or to put this in 5th Grade Set Theory nomenclature:

    "The Set of {Lands with Approved Permits}
is a subset of the Set of {Lands with Leases}".

    Therefore,
    Given {Lands with Approved Permits} > 9000,
    then {Lands with Leases} > 9000.

    C'mon Tommy ... this isn't hard.
