• Some random thoughts of the Russian/Ukraine BS

From Irving S@21:1/5 to All on Wed Mar 16 06:22:06 2022
    1. What the hell was going on in those biolabs?. What the hell has been going on at any of the biolabs in the world. Why has their been no oversight of this? Why are American taxpayer dollar going to funding these labs?. How would we feel if there
were biolabs run by the Mexicans right across the border.

    2. How can we even begin to criticize the horrible slaughter of innocents in Ukraine when we went into Vietnam and destroyed villages, destroyed agriculture, and killed hundreds of thousands of total innocents. How many US soldiers died there or were
permanently disabled or poisoned by Agent Orange (a huge coverup in itself). How many of those that fought there could even articulate what the mission was? Do we even today clearly know what the mission was? Think of the way our Vets were treated
when they returned, and the horrible conditions and corruption in the VA system, it sucks from every angle.

    3. How can we even begin to criticize the horrible slaughter of innocents in Ukraine when we wrecked total havoc in the Middle East under the guise of "weapons of mass destruction" that were never found.

    4. Kennedy set a red line with the Cuban missle crisis. They got too close, he set he red line. Does Putin not have the right to set a red line? Are the motives of NATO and the US always pure and innocent...yea in whose delusional mind.

    5. Who in the US and Europe to be talking about freedom and democracy when people were forced under the threat of job loss and lockdown to take experimental vaccines? How can we even begin to talk about freedom when we destroyed businesses and forced
people to wear masks, while life went on for the rich and famous and the mandates were often ignored. Look at what has happened in Canada, the loss of rights and freedoms enacted by Trudeau? Is Canada a model for anything, no that country is shit. A
    moral compass for no one.

    6. Who is the US and Europe to the talking about freedom and democracy when opinions that are not popular and mainstream are banned from social media, and people expressing their opinions are cancelled, ostracized, or lose their jobs or liscences.

    7. Show me evidence that this Ukraine is a model for democracy. Yea right! It was a cash cow and a vehicle for money laundering for politicans and government officials that our minds cannot comprehend.

I am repulsed by the destruction and death on TV, but am equally repulsed by the war mongers pushing us toward war, and the US and NATO countries portrayed as such moral beacons. We need to stay the hell out of this, as terrible as this all is.
Escalation will cause widespread turmoil and death, and cause the world economy to implode. Is Ukraine worth it? I say no. As hard as that is to say it, I say no. Because escalation might mean a nuke in a major EU city like Paris, London, Brussels,
or even a few here. Is it worth it, I say no. If you say otherwise, you are a moron.

Interesting how well military industrial stocks are doing these days. I got to look at my portfolio later, and maybe get in on some of this action. Yea, in the end, the rich get richer, and savy investors jump on opportunities like this. While poor
people are sent to fight and die for what reason? And regular poor people suffer all the economic consequences. The decked is stacked.

Interestng also, that there have been terrible wars and human suffering in other parts of the world. like central Africa, the Middle East, and parts of Asia and we hear nothing about it. If we are such a moral compass, why do we not speak up about the
other atrocities of the world. Seems we are somewhat selective no?

We "little people" have no idea what the real agendas here are, and what is really going on. I discount everything on the news, including FOX. It is all propaganda. I can tell you without reservation, however, it is the little people in the end that
will get screwed. If you think otherwise, what a dumb shit you must be.

    2. How can we even begin to criticize the horrible slaughter of innocents in Ukraine when we went into Vietnam and destroyed villages, destroyed agriculture,

I'm not aware of anyone in the USA who is trying to justify doing those acts in Vietnam.

Why? Are only "true" democracies deserving of not being invaded by dictatorships?

I am repulsed by the destruction and death on TV, but ...

There is no "but...": Putin is knowingly committing international war crimes and all indications are that he will not voluntarily stop. Since he also has a nuclear arsenal at his control, he is a threat to all humankind and as such,
he must be stopped at absolutely any cost.

We need to stay the hell out of this...

We can't. Putin has a nuclear arsenal at his control, which makes him an existential threat to all humankind.

Consider how much of that selectiveness is predicated upon securing
resources at lowest cost for Capitalism. Overall, this is why domestic
"green" energy production actually enhances National Security: if we don't need the oil from these dictatorship shithole countries, they lose that
    power of influence over us.

The problem, of course, is that such changes aren't free, so Capitalistic forces typically opposed that which could reduce their near term profits.

Not so much thoughts as echoes from the chamber I am sure... tells you
a lot about where "Irving" spends most of his/her time (do we know
which? or do I call them they like a woke trans).

He/she does not even see the contradiction of identifying American
wrong doings and using them as an excuse to let Russia do what the hell
it likes... as if he/she is incapable of learning anything.

I think it is pretty obvious that it is the same old culprit of
selfishness and greed that drives these observations. The only question
he/she is really asking himself/herself is "how much will it cost me?"
and every other answer is predicated on that.

HH. you are clearly a comedian. I refuse to take you seriously, I have no interest in debating point by point, because like the grotesque oaf to the north, there is no way to convince you. You get off being contrary for the sake of it. Good for you,

But I will address on thing you said. It is hysterical. With regards to Putin, you stated : "he must be stopped at absolutely any cost" At any cost? At any cost? At any cost? Holy crap dude, do you have any idea what you are saying? No human
being can be that stupid, so I say this is a comedy routine. You got a laugh out of me, so job well done.

    Enjoy!

Hey moron, I thought I was in your "Bozo Bin". Well, so honored that you took time out of your busy day seeking dog walking jobs to respond to me.

Yes imbecile, it is selfishness that drives my observations, and it is this same selfishness that most of us share. We must proceed with EXTREME caution, this is a nuclear power, not some camel jockeys with a few spears. It was Mr. Spock that once
said in one of the Star Trek movies "The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few". No rational person enjoys seeing the carnage in Ukraine, but it is what it is. We are not dealing with the cute puppies whose crap you scrape off the pavement.
We are dealing with a ferocious opponent, one miscalulation and Paris or London or Brussels could be tinders. Is that a worthwhile trade off? Ukraine should surrender, because there is no way Putin will just leave, Surrender and negotiate. Otherwise,
the Ukraine will become just a bigger and bigger pile of destruction. Any remaining infrastructure will be gone, it will take years to rebuild.

I doubt you have any children. It is beyond comprehension that any woman could feel passion or love for a vile animal like you. There are parents out there, their kids are far removed from all this, to think that they will get sucked into all this
and face death or a lifetime of disability. I have a son who will be draft age next year, and a daughter in her 20s. I can assure you that there is no way they would ever agree to participate in this, and any notice from the armed forces would be
burned on our front lawn. To die for a country that most Americans could not even locate on a map a few months ago, a country that has been a vehicle for widespread corruption and money laundering, a county that is FAR from the democratic utopia the
media portrays, is not worth Americans dying for. If anyone needs to die, let it be the EU. It is on their front door, not ours.

No asshole, I am not alone asking "How much it will cost me". There are millions and millions that will not buy into the script and will refuse to buy the propaganda. I doubt if we go to war that their will be lines of Americans waiting to enlist.
There is no way to tell what the truth is and what the BS is. We have been lied to and lied to over and over. We have been drawn into numerous foreign conflicts that in the end we regretted. The impetus seems to be heading in the direction of
heightened involvement by the US and its allies. One mistake, one false move, one miscalculation, it is all over. And we will have imbeciles like you to thank. Imbeciles devoid of critical thinking, that buy into what they read and hear. Good for you
    asshole, live in your hole.

Now do something useful cretin. Find a dog that needs to be walked. Tell that dog it is a "demented old fart". You gutless reptilian freak of nature, you would surely say it to a dog, say it on the keyboard, in real life your would defecate all over
yourself in fear. Hilarious dope you are , thanks for the laughs.

in their right mind could be jealous of you. This sorta reminds me of that money counting stunt you pulled. Talk about putting on a show. Good for you doofus, you got money, We are happy for you. You might have more money than all the rest of us
combined. But who the hell would want to be you, or even be remotely like you. If I am wrong, would someone please step forward!

Oh, and you always seem to have a rationale for "being around". Doofus, you have hundreds of thousands of posts across multiple newsgroups. The pattern has been that you often respond within minutes if the subject or poster is of interest. That
requires a lot of vigilance and monitoring, something that the rest of us do not have the time or interest in. Just admit it, you thrive on this. If not, there would not be hundreds of thousands of posts. What an accomplishment, please tell us what
you have to show for it.

Good work at just being you! You get an A. That should make you proud. You never finished college, but this professor gives you an outstanding grade, you are awesome!

What the hell has been going on at any of the biolabs in the world. Why has
their been no oversight of this? Why are American taxpayer
dollar going to funding these labs?. How would we feel if
there were biolabs run by the Mexicans right across the
    border.
A wiser question to ask is if the US should export our
    expertise in lab safety.
    2. How can we even begin to criticize the horrible slaughter
of innocents in Ukraine when we went into Vietnam and
destroyed villages, destroyed agriculture, and killed
hundreds of thousands of total innocents.
I'm not aware of anyone in the USA who is trying to justify
doing those acts in Vietnam. Is there someone on Fox that's
saying that all was "good"? Let's see names.
    3. How can we even begin to criticize the horrible slaughter
of innocents in Ukraine when we wrecked total havoc in the
Middle East under the guise of "weapons of mass destruction"
    that were never found.
Same answer: who still defends those actions as being
justified? Have the Republicans who lied to the world been
punished for that yet? Why or why not?

    4. Kennedy set a red line with the Cuban missle crisis. They
got too close, he set the red line. Does Putin not have the
right to set a red line?

First, are these events actually comparable? Because the US
didn't invade Cuba as a result of the USSR deploying missiles
there, whereas Russia has invaded Ukraine without Ukraine even
joining the EU or NATO, let alone deploying any missiles.

Second, when one "sets a red line" but then violates it
yourself, you've lost the moral high ground that you were
trying to claim, so the answer here is a "No".
    5. Who in the US and Europe to be talking about freedom and
democracy when people were forced under the threat of job
loss and lockdown to take experimental vaccines?
Has nothing to do with Russian/Ukraine.
    6. Who is the US and Europe to the talking about freedom and
democracy when opinions that are not popular and mainstream
are banned from social media, and people expressing their
opinions are cancelled, ostracized, or lose their jobs or
    liscences.
See "aiding and giving comfort to the enemy" principles.
    7. Show me evidence that this Ukraine is a model for
    democracy.
Why? Are only "true" democracies deserving of not being invaded >>>> by dictatorships?

I am repulsed by the destruction and death on TV, but ...

There is no "but...": Putin is knowingly committing
international war crimes and all indications are that he will
not voluntarily stop. Since he also has a nuclear arsenal at
his control, he is a threat to all humankind and as such, he
must be stopped at absolutely any cost.

We need to stay the hell out of this...

We can't. Putin has a nuclear arsenal at his control, which
makes him an existential threat to all humankind.
Interesting how well military industrial stocks are doing
these days. I got to look at my portfolio later, and maybe
get in on some of this action.
    Oil stocks too.
Interestng also, that there have been terrible wars and
human suffering in other parts of the world. like central
Africa, the Middle East, and parts of Asia and we hear
nothing about it. If we are such a moral compass, why do we
not speak up about the other atrocities of the world. Seems
    we are somewhat selective no?
Consider how much of that selectiveness is predicated upon
securing resources at lowest cost for Capitalism. Overall, this >>>> is why domestic "green" energy production actually enhances
National Security: if we don't need the oil from these
dictatorship shithole countries, they lose that power of
    influence over us.

The problem, of course, is that such changes aren't free, so
Capitalistic forces typically opposed that which could reduce
    their near term profits.

HH. you are clearly a comedian. I refuse to take you seriously,

As for me, I'm just hanging out at a buddies place while I wait for the front brake job to be completed on my BMW.

    :-)\

True to form, what a doofus! You just had to drop that reference to the BMW.
It was not enough to just say your car was being worked on. Big deal, you own a race car, big deal you drive a BMW. No one cares and no one is jealous
of you, who the hell in their right mind could be jealous of you...[long rant snipped]

Gosh, how's that new meme saying go again?
    Oh right:

"How to say that you're jealous ...
... without saying that you're jealous."

    -hh

Once again you show that your true calling in life is comedy. What a waste of talent?

Sorry to disappoint clown, but if I was to be jealous of anyone, it would not be a college dropout with no wife or kids. I certainly am not jealous of anyone that needs to do a youtube video counting money. To be honest, I am not a car person at all.
Cars fail to impress. I work 6 miles from home, my wife' office is 10, and we both often work from home, so we just need functional vehicles. Two small mazdas, they are tanks. Never have repair issues, they are tanks. We could surely afford
more expensive cars, but my son goes to private school, and with college looming, we have bigger priorities. Maybe the oaf to the north is different, but my butt is really stupid, It does not know whether it is sitting in a Toyota or a Range Rover.
Neh, cars never impressed me. I know so many folks that get new cars every 5 years, with payments that are almost a mortgage. To each their own, a waste in my eyes.
