In both these events, we were attacked on our own soil. A direct threat to our security and long term well being. Not an apples for apples comparison, but it appeals to the emotion, certainly not the intellect. It is emotional false crap like this
that will get us drawn into a bigger conflict, which we will live to regret. Nothing good will come out of this. If you think otherwise, you are warped.

Ukraine has their backs against the wall and are being slaughtered by Russians. Zelenskyy will use ANY tool at his disposal to stop the carnage, including blatant emotional appeals - I would do the same in his shoes. The very LEAST we can do is to

provide him with weapons with which Ukraine can defend themselves.
