It isn't the second hit for me.

This is the second hit for me:

    <https://www.facebook.com/public/Tom-Elam>

That's a list of more than 100 people named "Tom" or "Thomas" "Elam"

Well, here I am, you lose the bet. Since it did not work for you here is the link I found using Edge/Bing:

    https://www.facebook.com/tom.elam.56

I logged out of FB and opened the link in Chrome/Google and Safari/Yahoo. It worked in all.

Here are my FB privacy settings. What's so private about my FB account?

Who can send you friend requests? Friends of friends
Who can see your friends list? Public
Who can look you up using the email address you provided? Everyone
Who can look you up using the phone number you provided? Everyone
Do you want search engines outside of Facebook to link to your profile? Yes

Now, we see each other's FB. Can't wait to see what you dig up and post here.

Nah, not strange at all: Google & similar search engines typically remember their users and what links they subsequently click on, which gets built into the search algorithm for that specific user.

    Nothing has changed.

From Google's perspective, the user changed.

Both, plus on Google I also searched using images. Found a headshot

View the profiles of people named Elam Tom. Join Facebook to connect with Elam Tom and others you may know. Facebook gives people the power to share and.."

That's me at the top of the list. YMMV. Not much I can do about that.

So, my FB account is not hidden, it's there for you to find and look over at your leisure. If you can't find it that's your problem.

I did a FB search too…and I know I’ve found your page before. But no luck this time, at least on the first page of Tom Elam’s.

    That's strange.

Nah, not strange at all: Google & similar search engines typically remember
their users and what links they subsequently click on, which gets built into

Did you look from the FB search or a search engine?
Both, plus on Google I also searched using images. Found a headshot portrait of you that was on some industry thing (turkeys) but since
that wasn't posted on FB, it wouldn't lead back to FB.
On my end it may have had to do with me being logged in my FB
account when I Googled for my account.
Maybe for you, but probably not for others.
    Anyway, I posted the link.

Accepted, all Google searches are not equal. It still does not excuse Alan claiming that I did something to make my FB pages hard to find. It's wide open. Maybe it has to do with the fact that I seldom post own content on FB?
It’s still potentially a needle in the haystack. See below.

If you want to access my Facebook site go right ahead. I also have a YouTube channel with 13 videos. Added a new one today in fact. But that’s about it. My company Website is deleted as is my LinkIn site. Never been on Twitter, InstaGram, Pinterest,

    That's strange.

Nah, not strange at all: Google & similar search engines
typically remember their users and what links they subsequently
click on, which gets built into the search algorithm for that
    specific user.

    Nothing has changed.

From Google's perspective, the user changed.
Did you look from the FB search or a search engine?
Both, plus on Google I also searched using images. Found a
headshot portrait of you that was on some industry thing
(turkeys) but since that wasn't posted on FB, it wouldn't lead
    back to FB.
On my end it may have had to do with me being logged in my

Accepted, all Google searches are not equal. It still does not
excuse Alan claiming that I did something to make my FB pages

    Not for me it isn’t.

You do realize that websites set browser cookies, right?

    That's strange.

Nah, not strange at all: Google & similar search engines typically remember
their users and what links they subsequently click on, which gets built into
the search algorithm for that specific user.

    Nothing has changed.

From Google's perspective, the user changed.
Did you look from the FB search or a search engine?
Both, plus on Google I also searched using images. Found a headshot >>>>> portrait of you that was on some industry thing (turkeys) but since >>>>> that wasn't posted on FB, it wouldn't lead back to FB.

Maybe for you, but probably not for others.
    Anyway, I posted the link.
Doesn't answer Alan's question for which he requested your clearance. >>>>> BTW, I do not consent to be doxxed by others here.

Accepted, all Google searches are not equal. It still does not excuse Alan
claiming that I did something to make my FB pages hard to find. It's wide
open. Maybe it has to do with the fact that I seldom post own content on FB?
It’s still potentially a needle in the haystack. See below.

Yes I did answer Alan. It's OK as long as I have permission to respond in kind.
    Sorry, that’s not unconstrained.

I’m sure thst if I keep on clicking on ‘next page’ on Google it has to
eventually come up, but it wasn’t on the first 10 pages (100 hits)
when I did that specific Google search.

Well it was when I did it. My bad for assuming that it would work for anyone.

    Because tracking cookies, etc.

If you try to finding "tom elam carmel indiana" in FB's search box it should work better.
That somewhat narrows the scope of sites to search. :)

One would think so, but doing it now:

    <https://www.facebook.com/search/top?q=tom%20elam%20carmel%20indiana>

    Top returns are:

    People:

    Indiana Tom
    Lives in Martigues

    Tom Indiana
    Lives in Flint, Michigan

    Antina Tom
    Lives in Tortuguitas

    Pages:
    Tom Elam 174

    Public group · 1.9K members

    Indiana Jones Spoiler Group
    Public group · 1.2K members

    Indiana Jones: Fan Team
    Public group · 729 members

That's a "nope"; screenshot saved, if requested.
    I can confirm that.

I can even confirm that if I search for "tom elam", then limit the
search to "People" and then specify "Carmel, Indiana" as the city, the search result is "We didn't find any results".

Apparently Alan has not consented to reciprocal.

    Nor have I.
Are you sure that matters to Tom?

He seems to feel as long as something is "out there" it's fair game.

He just won't agree that that should be the rule about his own information.

Gee, the Fool knows how to use google after all!!!!

Let me know if you want a screenshot to document.

On my end it may have had to do with me being logged in my FB
account when I Googled for my account.
Maybe for you, but probably not for others.
    Anyway, I posted the link.

If you search Google for tom elam facebook you will find this link

    https://www.facebook.com/blacksheeprcmodelers/posts/4900650183321501 >>>>
That is me on a local RC club site …

I’m sure thst if I keep on clicking on ‘next page’ on Google it has to
eventually come up, but it wasn’t on the first 10 pages (100 hits)
when I did that specific Google search.

Well it was when I did it. My bad for assuming that it would work for anyone.

    Because tracking cookies, etc.

If you try to finding "tom elam carmel indiana" in FB's search box it should work better.
That somewhat narrows the scope of sites to search. :)

One would think so, but doing it now:

    <https://www.facebook.com/search/top?q=tom%20elam%20carmel%20indiana>

    Top returns are:

    People:

    Indiana Tom
    Lives in Martigues

    Tom Indiana
    Lives in Flint, Michigan

    Antina Tom
    Lives in Tortuguitas

    Pages:
    Tom Elam 174
    Page · Athlete · 21 like this

    Groups:
Carmel Senior Secondary School, Port Blair
    Public group · 1.9K members

    Indiana Jones Spoiler Group
    Public group · 1.2K members

    Indiana Jones: Fan Team
    Public group · 729 members

That's a "nope"; screenshot saved, if requested.

    I can confirm that.

I can even confirm that if I search for "tom elam", then limit the
search to "People" and then specify "Carmel, Indiana" as the city, the search result is "We didn't find any results".

I also tried just the last name, then added <City, State>; two returned
hits: a "Dans E...", and a "Elma S...". First one is the only exact fit on all search terms; second one I'm guessing is a phonetic fit.

So, my FB account is not hidden, it's there for you to find and look
