• Uvalde school district investigates high tech security system: DOOR LOC

From TomS@21:1/5 to All on Thu May 26 17:55:40 2022
The shooter walked into the school thru an unlocked door (hey Fool, LOOK IT UP!). Locking the doors should be the first thing they do. They also should do what they do at just TWO SCHOOLS:

SECURITY VESTIBULES AND OUTSIDE DOOR BUZZ-IN SYSTEMS – Uvalde HS utilized a security vestibule and outside door buzz-in system. Anthon Elementary utilizes a security vestibule to direct visitors into the office.

SIX MINUTES! Pretty hair trigger, Fool. Yes, they ARE going to investigate ALL the failures of law enforcement as well as Lyin' Biden's recent executive order on police use of force, as they SHOULD!

Now it turns out that a TEACHER at Robb Elementary propped open the door that the shooter used to gain entrance into the school, doing the OPPOSITE of what I said. Where I live if there is ANY shooting in the neighborhood schools go into a LOCKDOWN state,
which means exactly what it says. They sure as hell don't OPEN the doors for perps to gain entry. This is a fundamental breakdown of basic security.

It is but probably not uncommon. Regardless even if the door has been
shut it may not have saved many lives. The guy had a weapon made for

Blaming a door is a cop out.

But a military action isn't the same as mass killings in schools.

If "irrational behaviour" were the answer, then there would be the same
kinds of killing with the same frequency in most countries, right?

    But there aren't.

    Now it turns out

That had always been the fact. Nothing has changed except you
    going off half cocked.

Indeed. The fact remains that the LEO failed to secure the scene
    in a timely fashion.

that a TEACHER at Robb Elementary propped open the
door that the shooter used to gain entrance into the school,
doing the OPPOSITE of what I said. Where I live if there is
ANY shooting in the neighborhood schools go into a LOCKDOWN

Blaming a door is a cop out.

The next deflection attempt is going to be to blame the
    dispatcher.

The flaw with that strategy is that it is still the LEO’s responsibility on the ground to confirm & secure the site. They
    failed.

More police funding will not solve this sort of failure.

If this info is correct then more funding has not solved this sort
    of failure.

    "This year:
    1. Uvalde Police general funding is UP almost $250k.
    2. Uvalde police received a $532k grant from Governor Abbot.
    3. Uvalde school district received $435k to strengthen security."

So, how come they didn't spend some of that money on better locks?

Why are you asking me, dipshit? Maybe it went straight into the pockets
of your corrupt police and public officials.

Who even said there was anything wrong with the locks? They seem to
    have defeated the police.

Why all the interest in locks... I thought unarmed teachers would be
more up your street when looking for a scapegoat.

Noted that you are fine with a boy being able to get his hands on a gun
like that and a thousand rounds in high capacity magazines.

"A society that embraces firearms reaps the rewards."

Blaming a door is a cop out.

No, it is a shooter in - this is a FUNDAMENTAL security measure that
a teacher, who should KNOW BETTER, defeated.
Except for how it wasn’t actually true:

“ Remember the door at Robb Elementary that police reported
was propped open? Well it wasn't. Reports of security video show
teacher who witnessed & reported shooter's motor vehicle accident
and his initial shots fired also removed rock that was holding door
    open & closed the door.”

The irrational behaviour is letting a society so broken get their hands

Exactly. The responsible truth-teller makes it clear what has
been factually verified and never misrepresents speculation.

You have no answers, Betty. You are an enabler; you are culpable.

    Only in America.

18 Mass shootings since the Robb Elementary massacre of elementary
