Been playing a lot of golf lately,
Get to the office by 6am , put in my time, and play a quick 9.
Two things really have helped. First, the PXGs I got earlier this year are nothing short of amazing. The best clubs i could imagine. A lot of golf is psychological, you trust your clubs, it makes a difference. The fitting process they put me through
was amazing. I am sold on getting clubs fit
Second thing is our new club pro. He is a Golf Machine guy, and he taught me this new takeaway, where I drag the handle first, and let the clubhead lag a bit. This was a game changer for me. Doing this the last few months, the more conventional one
piece takeaway feels awkward and strange, after doing it for most of my golfing life.
Heading out to Alabama next month to play the Robert Trent Jones golf trail, and then to the Monterrey Peninsula in September. Hopefully, this covid nonsense will not ruin these trips. Might be going to Kiawah in October, that is a bucket list. Anyone
ever played there, I hear the Ocean Course is amazing.
