• NJ, what a joke

From Irving S@21:1/5 to All on Sun Jul 24 13:48:05 2022
Only been there a few times on business. The ugliest, filthiest cities I have ever seen. That airport, you call that an airport? Did some business in Elizabeth, Newark, and Camden, talk about complete hellholes. Well, actually Cherry Hill was
sort of nice.

I actually had chance to transfer there several years back. When I investigated the cost of living, taxes, etc, even with a significant raise, I would be well behind, not even close. Those fucking toll roads and bridges, what a joke. And the rush
hour traffic, holy crap. Congestion upon congestion, homes right on top of each other everywhere. You can have that place, it is a bad dream.

But the reason I am writing this is that if NJ was a country, it would have the worst Covid-19 death rate in the world. Your homely retard looking governor shut down businesses, there were vaccine and mask mandates, and your numbers flat out suck. His
handling of the nursing homes makes him no better than the prick Governor you clods had in NY. The whole thing totally mismanaged, the numbers tell it all. Crap results.

I am proud to say that in the Red state I live, we shut down briefly, and a lot of businesses did not even comply. I never had to wear a mask anywhere, I will say a few places did have signs, but no goons enforcing anything. Our numbers are a whole lot
better than the shithole Garden State (LOL!).

Every study shows that mandates, business closures, social distancing did nothing. It was a power play and you lemmings could not wait to fold your cards. What the Blue state governors did to you all is amazing, they shit all over you, and you blue
lemmings complied. You will comply again. If they told you blue state clowns to eat shit, many of you would get out the knife, fork, and ketchup. . You got to stand up to tyranny, and your governor, that prick Cuomo, Whitmer, and that asshole
Trudeau to the north, you bowed to them. They are not worth crapping on, and you lemmings bowed, and believed every word they said. You will bow again, while our leaders will support our freedoms.

Good news, the demented prick in the White House, and all his check the box retards will be gone soon. This is just a temporary aberration, no need to worry that any of this is really going anywhere. Trump's speech yesterday was amazing. Forget the
personality, he got balls, balls that you blue state lemmings and your so-called leaders will never have. Times are a changin clownie. Tell us where to mail the hankies. BAWAWAWAWA

The truth hurts, no need to respond. Really, no need to respond.

NJ is widely know as the "armpit of America". It is the source of many jokes, and its local and state governments have a long standing reputation of being incompentant and corrupt.

A quick google search tells us of unfunded dept over $200 billion. Taxes keep getting raised to pay this. The government has a propensity to use funds meants for one thing to pay another. The average property tax is over $9000 and the average single
family home is over $400,000. Car and home insurance among the highest in the nation. Sounds like a shithole to me

Every city is a shithole. Who would want to take the wife on a "night on the town" to the likes of Newark or Camden. I once drove through the capital, Trenton, had no desire to stop, looked like a slum. Other than business, I never see myself going
back, and the same goes for the SHITHOLE NYC, right across the river.

Who would want to live with a bunch of woke assholes, I bet a lot of New Jersians buy into this horseshit. Well they sure got what they deserved, and I must say that governor is the homliest motherfucker to ever breathe. He could not have fucked up the
Covid thing worse, I watched on TV and just shook my head, and glad I am far far away from this shithole and all that live there.

Did not take long to validate my suspicion that more people have left the Shithole, or should I say "Garden" state, than any other. And college grads are leaving at record levels. Who would want to stay there and have a life there, when there are tons
of places a lot cheaper, better weather, less crowded, and a govt less corrupt. But most importantly, getting far away from woke blue imbeciles.

Nah, you woulld not laugh much. Where I live, you can get a great home with acreage for under $300,OOO, often with property taxes under $3000.

Can you say the same about Vancouver, where the average single family home is well over $1 million. You live in an apartment don't you. or they call it a condo, whatever. I bet your condo is worth three times my home, yet I have three times the square
footage and land. Plus, it is a gated community with security, the garbage stays out. I have been ot Vancouver, sad on the main city streets all the homeless sleeping on cardboard, they are everywhere. It is not a pretty sight. Young people are
moving out, affordable housing is way out of reach. Your taxes dude are off the charts compared to mine, and I can guarantee my access to health care beats yours, Canada is notorious for long waits for even the most basic of proedures.

So yea, I live in Southeastern Texas, if you want to laugh go ahead. You have been doxed on this forum before, I would never do that, what a low life thing to do, but you live in what is basically an apartment with no land, and not much privacy. That
is laughable, at your age, all you have to show. LOLOLOLOLOLOL!

Cry harder Tommy. We all know that your location of your “mansion” would have to suck,
because that’s how the housing market works.

...oh, and that wasn’t a workbench, but just temporary storage of some construction

NJ is widely know as the "armpit of America". It is the source of many jokes, and its local and state governments have a long standing reputation of being incompentant and corrupt.

And you won't tell us what state you live in...
...because you know how long and hard we'd get to laugh.
Well, they’re now claiming southeast Texas, which if San Antonio is any
indication…

Illustrates the price he’s paying to find housing that’s 25% below what the mere median New
Jerseyian can afford, day in, day out: current 14 day forecast calls for zero days cooler than

Dude, a hundred posts or more, you could not convince anyone to move to NJ.
I don’t need to, as it’s the Market who has already spoken: money is the sincerest form
of flattery and here, the Market is saying that NJ is +33% better.
Fact is many more are moving out than moving in. Why is that so hard to comprehend?
So there’s wimps who can’t cut it who quit …just how’s that a problem?
Stop defending what is not defensible. Home is where the heart is, I get it.
You have a family, a job, that is first and foremost. But ALL things being equal, very few pick NJ. Get over it please

Truth be it, no one in their right mind would list NJ as someone who would want to spend their golden years of retirement. Plus the ridiculous taxes and high cost of living, why the hell would anyone want to move there, the negatives far outweigh the
positives. I will never forget the first and only time I visited Atlantic City, I could not believe my eyes at all the homeless. A block or two from the casinos. I played craps, the lowest table was $10 minimum, and the place was empty, is this a way
to entice gamblers? What idiots! Compare this with Biloxi, or Tunica, or Las Vegas, or other gambling towns. They did it right, NJ failed miserably.

You are beyond silly, but you got a laugh out of me. WIMPS?? LOL!!

Better to say they are smart folks, that got the hell out while they could. I have only snapshots of this place from a few business trips. Those snapshots were enough to call NJ what it is, a shithole.

Truth be it, no one in their right mind would list NJ as someone who would want to spend
their golden years of retirement.

Depends on what one wants to do. There’s more cultural sights just in NYC than all of TX.

Similarly, for one engaged in international travel that’s not South/Central America & Caribbean,
the question becomes how far of a drive it is to get to Houston…or if you’re on a regional jet.

Plus the ridiculous taxes and high cost of living, why the hell would anyone want
to move there, the negatives far outweigh the positives.

Because the jobs pay more too…and prices of major goods (like automobiles) aren’t higher.

I will never forget the first and only time I visited Atlantic City, I could not believe
my eyes at all the homeless. A block or two from the casinos.

A fraction of what I’ve seen in Houston, Dallas, Austin, San Antonio…

I played craps, the lowest table was $10 minimum, and the place was empty,
is this a way to entice gamblers? What idiots! Compare this with Biloxi, or Tunica, or Las Vegas, or other gambling towns. They did it right, NJ failed miserably.

NJ’s gambling industry got taken out by competition from NY/PA Indian casinos.
And I’ve not yet been to any gambling town that I’d say is really prosperous and
problem-free, including Vegas.

You are beyond silly, but you got a laugh out of me. WIMPS?? LOL!!

“ Many small business owners leave New Jersey for other states because businesses
are highly regulated” which actually means that their business financially failed,
invariably due to their own choices.

Better to say they are smart folks, that got the hell out while they could.

With their tail between their legs, mumbling something about how the
grapes were probably bitter anyway.

I have only snapshots of this place from a few business trips. Those snapshots
were enough to call NJ what it is, a shithole.

“Pics or it didn’t happen”applies, cupcake.

BTW, nicer in NJ this afternoon than it was in Dallas this morning.

I have pointed out to the Lyin' Asshole before that I could buy a 3,000 ft mansion for
what his crackerbox appraises for in NJ - and that would have a 3-car garage so you
wouldn't have to have a workbench that folds down over the hood of your car!
Cry harder Tommy. We all know that your location of your “mansion” would have to suck,
because that’s how the housing market works.

...oh, and that wasn’t a workbench, but just temporary storage of some construction
material during a 1998 renovation. Took you some real doxxy digging to even find it. Pwned.

-hh

LOL! Only in your WET DREAMS: that would be right here in the Tri Cities!!

I don't give a fuck whether you call it a "workbench" or "temporary storage": it happened because your crackerbox house is SO TINY! And the King of the Doxxers is complaining about being doxxed - that's RICH!!!

In semi-related news, happened to stumble across this article today:

<https://www.gobankingrates.com/retirement/planning/how-long-250000-will-last-in-retirement-in-each-state/>

Its a oversimplified look at retirement planning, but I found it humorous because of these:
Washington
$250,000 will last:
Years, Months and Days: 4 years, 7 months, 9 days
Annual expenditure: $54,192.48

New Jersey
$250,000 will last:
Years, Months and Days: 4 years, 7 months, 24 days
Annual expenditure: $53,716.69
Yes, you read that right: NJ is cheaper than WA to be retired. Wonder when Tommy's
going to thus move East, based on his claims that lower costs trumps location? /s

Oh, and just so that Irving doesn't feel totally left out:
Texas
$250,000 will last:
Years, Months and Days: 5 years, 8 months, 15 days
Annual expenditure: $43,820.26
