• Fentanyl deaths

From Irving S@21:1/5 to All on Fri Aug 19 13:14:38 2022
I am amazed at the scope of this, and the amount of this poison that is being confiscated at our border. If the govt really cared, they would staff up the border patrol and DEA, instead of more IRS workers.

Saw on TV earlier, this parent. He lost his son. He expressed anger that all this poison was crossing the border and so available on the streets. Some of these grieving parents need to take a good look at themselves. Fucking assholes they are. We
are in a society with a lot of bad people pushing a lot of bad stuff. I taught my kids from day one about drugs, the effects, and how people would try to convince them it was fun and cool to do. Every time there was a death in the local papers, I
talked to them about it. We talked and talked about it, they understood. When they got older, they shared with me whattheir friends were doing with pot, alcohol, etc and we talked about it. They stayed far away. And most importantly, I kept my kids
busy. Bored kids are good targets for drug abuse. We have dogs, cats, and they were responsiblle for their care. Loving and respecting animals to me is one of the most important things you can do to build character. We have a camper and regularly
went on trips. We always took them on days outings and vacations. We kept them busy, their minds occupied. I encouraged them to bring their friends to the house, and treat my house as their house. No need to go off and get in trouble, friends were
always welcome in our home and we treated them as family. You stay connected with your kids, and be a teacher, as well as a parent, things are less likely to go bad.

So like many other issues, like homosexuality, transgenderisim, criminal behavior, etc, lot of this is linked to parenting defects. I sure was not the perfect parent, and in retrospect there are always things you could have done different, but loving
and ENGAGED parents are less likely to raise drug addicts, and kids that want to cut off their penises to be women, or cut of their breasts to be a man. Sick people give rise to sick people We always blame others, the system, the police, the govt,
Trump and Putin, for what goes wrong with our kids. These asshole whining grieving parents need to take a good look at themselves.

    News for Tommy:

CBP manpower has been tripled: recruitment was tough, but 10K agents became 30K.
Is the same the case for the IRS? Even with the new allotment?

Nothing is perfect. Mistakes get made. There are bad people across all professions. To ask for perfection is crazy.

The overwhelming majority of folks that get shot by police deserved it. If you look at the inappropriate shootings as a percentage of all shootings, the number would be very small.

There are bad priests that molested kids, there are doctors and nurses that kill patient, so what? The overwhelming majority are good. There will always be bad people out there.

Truth be it, if people obeyed the law and stayed out of settings where they could not be shot, they would not be shot. No one gets shot execution style.

Bottom line Grandpa, if you watched the news, this weekend was epic for shootings. I could not believe it. A five year old was shot in the head in Chicago, that really got me. A handicapped man in a wheelchair was beaten up on a NYC subway. We are
being overtaken by animals. The overwhelming majority of police are good. We have no idea what they go through on a daily basis. You and I sit in comfortable air conditioned offices far away from these scumbags. It is a war zone out there, we have
no idea how bad it is. We would crap ourselves being in the positions the police are put in.

Bottom line Grandpa, if you watched the news, this weekend was epic

    Riiiiight.

"The free market voice of Wisconsin".

    But from their own text:

"As of this writing, 6,211 people have been shot and killed by law
enforcement officers. 46% of them—2,883 to be exact—were white, while
    24% (1,496 total) were black.

    Just 6% were unarmed."

So the police shot 372 unarmed people.

    Next:

'46% of them—2,883 to be exact—were white, while 24% (1,496 total) were black.'

The population of the US is 60% white and only 12% black.

Do you understand what "context" means at all?

You silly old man, blacks are well over represented in crimes committed. This is not a racist statement, but almost every inner city shooting is black on black. Almost every car jacking is done by a black. The mobs breaking into stores and robbing
them are black. Almost every time a rape is committed, there is a black face on the news. Now of course there are exceptions, but blacks per capita are a whole lot more dangerous than whites, and have a higher propensity for violence. Amazing the way
every one conveniently forgets that most of the inner city crime is black on black. Not racist at all, just objective fact.

    Riiiiight.

"The free market voice of Wisconsin".

    But from their own text:

"As of this writing, 6,211 people have been shot and killed by law
enforcement officers. 46% of them—2,883 to be exact—were white,
while 24% (1,496 total) were black.

    Just 6% were unarmed."

So the police shot 372 unarmed people.

    Next:

    '46% of them—2,883 to be exact—were white, while 24% (1,496 total)
    were black.'

The population of the US is 60% white and only 12% black.

Do you understand what "over-representation" means in the context
    of statistics?

Do you understand what "context" means at all?

You silly old man, blacks are well over represented in crimes
    committed.

    Cite please!

This is not a racist statement, but almost every inner
city shooting is black on black.

    Cite please!

Almost every car jacking is done by
    a black.

    Cite please!

The mobs breaking into stores and robbing them are black.

    Cite!

Almost every time a rape is committed, there is a black face on the
    news.

    Cite!

Now of course there are exceptions, but blacks per capita are
a whole lot more dangerous than whites, and have a higher propensity
for violence. Amazing the way every one conveniently forgets that
most of the inner city crime is black on black. Not racist at all,
    just objective fact.

Or maybe even if true, it has a lot more to do with that a lot more
blacks are poor, and not, it's not because they're lazy.

Racism is still very much alive and well in your country.
