• Professor Himalya

From Irving S@21:1/5 to All on Sun Oct 2 13:09:49 2022
I had an experience a few nights ago, I would like to share.

On Thursday afternoon, my son called me and wanted to go to the local range to try out his new driver. He bought the new TM, the Stealth. I was off from work, so we went.

We got two large buckets, hit balls for about an hour, and then chipped and putt a bit. I was thristy as could be, went into the clubhouse to get a Gatorade, and the clerk said " I hope you are staying tonight to see the Professor" I had no idea what
he was taking about. He showed me a poster of a golf clinic to be held from 6pm to 9pm with an instructor from Thailand, The clinic was $150 which included a presentation by the "Professor Himalaya". , range balls, and some one on one instruction as
time permitted. The clerk said he was there last year for two days, we would not regret it. He went on and on that the guy was amazing, and we would not believe what we saw. Well for the price, I figured why not, I paid for both of us, called the
wife and said we would not be home for dinner.

So it is about 545 pm, there are about 15 or so guys that signed up for the presentation. This thin frail looking gentlemen, well into his 70s, approaches us and introduces himself as Professor Himalaya, and he would be our instructor tonight. We
followed him to the range. He spoke with a heavy accent, so you really had to listen. He said that all golf instruction was wrong, he taught what the best golfers actually do. He said that he had taught a number of top college and pros in Thailand,
Cambodia, and in Laos. He said that he did not have a web site, he worked by word of mouth, and was a regular 70s shooter himself. I looked at this guy, I figured I just threw $300 away, what an idiot I was. The Professor than grabbed a 3 wood out of
one of our bags, and off the mats hit it well over 225 yards. The sound was amazing, as was the boring trajectory. He hit 3 more shots, all well over 200 yards. He asked if he could borrow a driver, my son volunteered, it was well past the 250 mark.
We were astonished. I mean jaw dropping astonished.

So then the lessons began. To keep it short, he said the hands were smart, the big muscles in the hips and torso were stupid. He said a good golf swing was all about how you use your hands. He taught the backswing something like this. You do a one
piece takeaway the first 2 feet or so. Your club head traces the line of the ball, your hands trace the foot line. Then, you open up the clubface by twisting your hands. This makes you turn. When I say open the clubface, I mean like you never have
before. He said this is what Hogan did. The Professor said that once you felt you had the clubhead open enough, try to open it even more.

Now the downswing is a reverse twist, while moving nothing else. The body reacts. If the body gets involved or the arms or shoulders do anything, the club gets thrown off plane. So all you do is twist the hands in the opposite direction, in a very
deliberate manner. a downswing will occur, the clubface will close, and as long as you keep on twisting you will have a good follow though.. He had us do this motion for about a half an hour. If we got the body or arms or shoulders involved, he was
quick to let us know. The next move was to the range. We progressed from PW to 7 iron to 5 iron to 3 wood to driver. I hit some amazing shots. I hit some really bad ones too, the Professor pointed out that I was doing my old swing on top of what my
hands were doing. He kept saying "Hands, hands, hands". He said on video it looked like the pivot was body based, he said that was an iilusion. He said the body follows the hands, the hands do not follow the body. With about a half hour left, we were
all hitting consistently good shots, we could not believe the swing could be this simple, He said you could use this for pitches and out of the sand, and showed us a modified technique for chipping and putting.

It ended with the Professor giving us a laminated card with step by step on how to do the swing, and an email address for questions. He said he would always be happy to answer questions. I asked him if he had a web site, he said no, but in the past he
contributed to a few golf forums. I checked later, I actually did find a few posts by him in 2014, but nothing more recent.

My son and I went home, we could not believe what we went through. We sure did not plan on meeting a character like this. We decided to play the next day when school ended, we went to the club, and hit balls for about 15 minutes. The best range
session of my life, no exaggeration.. My son was equally pleased. Well, I am not going to say I shot my best round ever but a 39 for 3160 yards. Ball striking was the best I ever had, accuracy was a bit off, as I could feel my shaft loading like
never before and hooking a few.. I went to the range after, and worked on tempo, and found a cadence that seemed to work. A few hours ago, I finished the best round of the year for 18 holes, a 75 at just over 6400 yards. I owed it all to the
    lessons.

Still don't know what to make of all this, I learned more from this guy for $!50, then my current club pro whom I have given hundreds upon hundreds to.. No fancy equipment or radar, no gimmicky devices, just pure simple instruction. It really is that
simple, I sure had no idea it could be. Being an engineer, I tend to over analyze and the golf swing is no exception. I already emailed the Professor, thanked him, he said he would be back maybe in the spring. He was heading to Arizona for a few
clinics, then Denver, and then back to Thailand.

I am not associated with this guy, have nothing to sell, so please don't go there. I am just sharing an incredible experience I did not plan on. You may think this is nonsense., that is fine, I just say give it a try first. You got to do it right,
seeing and being there does make a difference and getting immediate feedback, but I have tried to explain it the best I can. Hope this helps someone, it sure helped me.

One thing I want to emphasize with this technique that I must reinforced over and over. . Do not go after the ball, this technique will not work. You will go off plane with unpredictable results. Just do the motion, keeping the shoulders, torso, hips
relatively limp, they will move for sure, but not by any conscious effort. My son played 9 late afternoon, shot a 39 from the black tees which is 3470 yards. His best score in a while, he told me he is going to stick with this technique, I am too.

Any questions, please let me know. If I can't answer, I will be happy to email the Prof, or I can give you his email and you can contact him directly. I still can't get over this guy, the way he hit that ball, being well into his 70s, and maybe 140
    pounds.

I was thristy as could be, went into the clubhouse to get a Gatorade, and the clerk said " I hope you are staying tonight to see the Professor" I had no idea
what he was taking about.
Well for the price, I figured why not, I paid for both of us, called the wife
and said we would not be home for dinner.

The Professor than grabbed a 3 wood out of one
of our bags, and off the mats hit it well over 225 yards. The sound was amazing, as was the boring trajectory. He hit 3 more shots, all well over 200 yards. He asked if he could borrow a driver, my son volunteered, it was well past the 250 mark. We were
astonished.

When I say open the clubface, I mean like you never have before.

If we got the body or arms or shoulders involved, he was quick
to let us know. The next move was to the range. We progressed from PW to 7 iron to 5 iron to 3 wood to driver. I hit some amazing shots. I hit some really bad ones too, the Professor pointed out that I was doing my old swing on top of what my hands were
doing. He kept saying "Hands, hands, hands". He said on video it looked like the pivot was body based, he said that was an iilusion. He said the body follows the hands, the hands do not follow the body. With about a half hour left, we were all hitting
consistently good shots, we could not believe the swing could be this simple, He said you could use this for pitches and out of the sand, and showed us a modified technique for chipping and putting.

It ended with the Professor giving us a laminated card with step by step on how to do the swing, and an email address for questions. He said he would always be happy to answer questions. I asked him if he had a web site, he said no, but in the past
he contributed to a few golf forums.

Ball striking was the best I ever had, accuracy was a bit off, as I could feel my shaft loading like never
before and hooking a few.. I went to the range after, and worked on tempo, and found a cadence that seemed to work. A few hours ago, I finished the best round of the year for 18 holes, a 75 at just over 6400 yards. I owed it all to the lessons.

Still don't know what to make of all this, I learned more from this guy for $!50, then my current club pro whom I have given hundreds upon hundreds to.. No fancy equipment or radar, no gimmicky devices, just pure simple instruction. It really is
that simple, I sure had no idea it could be.

I still can't get over this guy, the way he hit that ball, being well into his 70s, and maybe 140
    pounds.
Sure... ...got any proof this guy exists?

Because you are literally the only person on the entire internet who has mentioned a "professor Himalya".

i had an equally tough time finding any evidence he exists, came up blank with my online searches. Right after you posted your doubts, I emailed him, thanking him for a great clinic and I asked him if there were any place I could go to find out more
about him on the internet. He responded that he used to be active in several forums under a variety of names. In his exact words, he said to me "I am a humble Buddhist man, that loves golf. I just want to spread joy, make some monies, but not
interested in fame or huge profits". He told me that in his country, he posts under his real name, but wants privacy and does not like the way people here get mad and hostile when they hear about golf swings that do not agree with the mainstream. He
told me that his most informative posts in the US were in a group called the Alternative Golf Swing Forum. He said go to page 106, and yes indeed I did a search, and there were several posts by him, and this is no doubt the same Professor Himalya I met
    last week.

He also told me that when he returned to Asia in a few months, he was going to supply me with the text of an ebook he never released, and said I could share it. He said the quality was poor, because he just did not have the drive to do a professional
product, he said he has too many things that keep him busy. When I get that email, I will be happy to share with you. One interesting tidbit also, I told my club pro about this guy, he knew about him right away. Apparently, he is just an
interesting character than just flies under the radar.

You wonder how many rightist tactics there are with that same common denominator. No corroboration. Ever.

LOLOL! You silly oaf. I showed the guy exists, go to the website i provided. That was in 2014, apparently he has been around a while.

I also have a video file of the guy swinging a driver. I made a wager with Grandpa, the video exists and if he takes the bet I will be happy to send you the file. You blowhards here, a lot of wind. Chickenshit when it comes to putting your money where
    you mouth is.

Fucking dumbell, this is a post about golf and you bring in politics? LOLOL! What a doofus, what a fucking doofus. Thanks for the laughs!

On Thursday afternoon, my son called me and wanted to go to the
local range to try out his new driver. He bought the new TM,
the Stealth. I was off from work, so we went.

We got two large buckets, hit balls for about an hour, and then
chipped and putt a bit. I was thristy as could be, went into
the clubhouse to get a Gatorade, and the clerk said " I hope
you are staying tonight to see the Professor" I had no idea
what he was taking about. He showed me a poster of a golf
clinic to be held from 6pm to 9pm with an instructor from
Thailand, The clinic was $150 which included a presentation by
the "Professor Himalaya". , range balls, and some one on one
instruction as time permitted. The clerk said he was there last
year for two days, we would not regret it. He went on and on
that the guy was amazing, and we would not believe what we saw.
Well for the price, I figured why not, I paid for both of us,
called the wife and said we would not be home for dinner.

So it is about 545 pm, there are about 15 or so guys that
signed up for the presentation. This thin frail looking
gentlemen, well into his 70s, approaches us and introduces
himself as Professor Himalaya, and he would be our instructor
tonight. We followed him to the range. He spoke with a heavy
accent, so you really had to listen. He said that all golf
instruction was wrong, he taught what the best golfers actually
do. He said that he had taught a number of top college and pros
in Thailand, Cambodia, and in Laos. He said that he did not
have a web site, he worked by word of mouth, and was a regular
70s shooter himself. I looked at this guy, I figured I just
threw $300 away, what an idiot I was. The Professor than
grabbed a 3 wood out of one of our bags, and off the mats hit
it well over 225 yards. The sound was amazing, as was the
boring trajectory. He hit 3 more shots, all well over 200
yards. He asked if he could borrow a driver, my son
volunteered, it was well past the 250 mark. We were astonished.
    I mean jaw dropping astonished.

So then the lessons began. To keep it short, he said the hands
were smart, the big muscles in the hips and torso were stupid.
He said a good golf swing was all about how you use your hands.
He taught the backswing something like this. You do a one piece
takeaway the first 2 feet or so. Your club head traces the line
of the ball, your hands trace the foot line. Then, you open up
the clubface by twisting your hands. This makes you turn. When
I say open the clubface, I mean like you never have before. He
said this is what Hogan did. The Professor said that once you
felt you had the clubhead open enough, try to open it even
    more.

Now the downswing is a reverse twist, while moving nothing
else. The body reacts. If the body gets involved or the arms or
shoulders do anything, the club gets thrown off plane. So all
you do is twist the hands in the opposite direction, in a very
deliberate manner. a downswing will occur, the clubface will
close, and as long as you keep on twisting you will have a good
follow though.. He had us do this motion for about a half an
hour. If we got the body or arms or shoulders involved, he was
quick to let us know. The next move was to the range. We
progressed from PW to 7 iron to 5 iron to 3 wood to driver. I
hit some amazing shots. I hit some really bad ones too, the
Professor pointed out that I was doing my old swing on top of
what my hands were doing. He kept saying "Hands, hands, hands".
He said on video it looked like the pivot was body based, he
said that was an iilusion. He said the body follows the hands,
the hands do not follow the body. With about a half hour left,
we were all hitting consistently good shots, we could not
believe the swing could be this simple, He said you could use
this for pitches and out of the sand, and showed us a modified
    technique for chipping and putting.

It ended with the Professor giving us a laminated card with
step by step on how to do the swing, and an email address for
questions. He said he would always be happy to answer
questions. I asked him if he had a web site, he said no, but in
the past he contributed to a few golf forums. I checked later,
I actually did find a few posts by him in 2014, but nothing
    more recent.

My son and I went home, we could not believe what we went
through. We sure did not plan on meeting a character like this.
We decided to play the next day when school ended, we went to
the club, and hit balls for about 15 minutes. The best range
session of my life, no exaggeration.. My son was equally
pleased. Well, I am not going to say I shot my best round ever
but a 39 for 3160 yards. Ball striking was the best I ever had,
accuracy was a bit off, as I could feel my shaft loading like
never before and hooking a few.. I went to the range after, and
worked on tempo, and found a cadence that seemed to work. A few
hours ago, I finished the best round of the year for 18 holes,
a 75 at just over 6400 yards. I owed it all to the lessons.

Still don't know what to make of all this, I learned more from
this guy for $!50, then my current club pro whom I have given
hundreds upon hundreds to.. No fancy equipment or radar, no
gimmicky devices, just pure simple instruction. It really is
that simple, I sure had no idea it could be. Being an engineer,
I tend to over analyze and the golf swing is no exception. I
already emailed the Professor, thanked him, he said he would be
back maybe in the spring. He was heading to Arizona for a few
clinics, then Denver, and then back to Thailand.

I am not associated with this guy, have nothing to sell, so
please don't go there. I am just sharing an incredible
experience I did not plan on. You may think this is nonsense.,
that is fine, I just say give it a try first. You got to do it
right, seeing and being there does make a difference and
getting immediate feedback, but I have tried to explain it the
best I can. Hope this helps someone, it sure helped me.

One thing I want to emphasize with this technique that I must
reinforced over and over. . Do not go after the ball, this
technique will not work. You will go off plane with unpredictable
results. Just do the motion, keeping the shoulders, torso, hips
relatively limp, they will move for sure, but not by any
conscious effort. My son played 9 late afternoon, shot a 39 from
the black tees which is 3470 yards. His best score in a while, he
told me he is going to stick with this technique, I am too.

Any questions, please let me know. If I can't answer, I will be
happy to email the Prof, or I can give you his email and you can
contact him directly. I still can't get over this guy, the way he
hit that ball, being well into his 70s, and maybe 140 pounds.
Sure... ...got any proof this guy exists?

Because you are literally the only person on the entire internet
who has mentioned a "professor Himalya".

i had an equally tough time finding any evidence he exists, came up
blank with my online searches. Right after you posted your doubts, I emailed him, thanking him for a great clinic and I asked him if there
were any place I could go to find out more about him on the internet.
He responded that he used to be active in several forums under a
variety of names. In his exact words, he said to me "I am a humble Buddhist man, that loves golf. I just want to spread joy, make some monies, but not interested in fame or huge profits". He told me
that in his country, he posts under his real name, but wants privacy
and does not like the way people here get mad and hostile when they
hear about golf swings that do not agree with the mainstream. He
told me that his most informative posts in the US were in a group
called the Alternative Golf Swing Forum. He said go to page 106, and
yes indeed I did a search, and there were several posts by him, and
this is no doubt the same Professor Himalya I met last week.

    Riiiiiiight.
He also told me that when he returned to Asia in a few months, he was going to supply me with the text of an ebook he never released, and
said I could share it. He said the quality was poor, because he just
did not have the drive to do a professional product, he said he has
too many things that keep him busy. When I get that email, I will
be happy to share with you. One interesting tidbit also, I told my
club pro about this guy, he knew about him right away. Apparently,
he is just an interesting character than just flies under the radar.

    Riiiiiight.

    More claims without any support.

Did I not supply a web site to go to where this guy posted several times. I believe the posts were in 2014. He describes a golf swing similar to what I was taught at his clinic. The posts were clearly marked as being by Professor Himalaya. What
unequivocal proof that there is a golf instructor out there that uses this name.

Look Grandpa, we can go round and round on this, you get off on it. I was at the clinic, I have a laminated hand out he provided, and I actually have a small video I took of him hitting a few drivers. In fact, i will be happy to place a wager of $500
that this video exists. I will gladly paypal $500 to Tom S, you do the same. I will send the video file to you, Tom, HH, Bowser, and any other poster that provides their email. I got nothing to hide, will you chickenshit again when it comes to putting
your money where your mouth is?. I gladly make this wager, it is money in the bank for me. If I am making more claims without any support, then you should be $500 richer in no time. Accept the wager Grandpa, we will see who makes claims "without any
    support".

Anyway, when I get the ebook , I will be happy to share it with everyone here. He said it was ok. That should make it obvious that once again you are just bored and being contrary. Then you will say the ebook was a fraud, put out by someone else,
or I forged it or whatever. Always something you old spinster creep, no wonder you never married or had kids, you are beyond creepy and irritating, but let me add most entertaining.

So what will it be my college dropout friend, do we wager or do you spin and show yourself to be chickenshit again. Just a yes or no will be sufficient. Your spinning and contrary rants just make you sound like a clown. A clown with some really
interesting hair. Dude, stop worrying about Professor Himalaya, that hair needs some love. You probably do too!

    Where To Buy ACCUTANE
    https://homelandpharmaceutical.com/product/accutane/
Buy Accutane, which is isotretinoin, – is a form of vitamin A, belongs to the group of retinoids. It is often used to treat complex, neglected forms of acne, when the remaining anti-acne drugs do not have a positive effect on the treatment of acne.
Accutane inhibits the production of sebum and reduces the size of the gums with the main active substance isotretinoin. It is proved that isotretinoin has an antiseptic effect. Also, isotretinoin thinens the stratum corneum of the epidermis to more
easily penetrate deep into the affected area.

Due to the fact that Accutane suppresses the sebum secretion by reducing the sebaceous glands themselves, this allows to reduce the migration of bacteria in the ducts. And due to the fact that the stratum corneum is thin, the skin fat has an outlet to
the outside, from which there is no blockage of the pores and, as a result, pimples.

    Hmmmm... ProtonMail, eh?

How long did that take you to set up, Dickhead?

No Grandpa, he is an instructor and he said if you email him at
ProfHimalaya@proton.me, he would be happy to speak with you and
answer and questions you may have.  He says if you will give him your
email,  when he returns home he can send you a copy of his ebook that
was never released, and he has a video file of an actual lesson with
one of his students.  I am done trying to convince a dunce like you,
you are just playing your role of being contrary.  A barking seal
that has become so predictable, to the point of boring, I mean really
boring.     Goodness, you come across as such a clown.   Speak to him >> directly, then you can tell us that he is just a NAME on a screen.

Have him email me at "professorhimalaya@proton.me".

    Weird.

I've checked my email at proton.me and "profhimalaya" hasn't sent me a
    thing.
