Greetings Tom! And happy New Years to ya!

Like all investigations, they will lead to no where, I have come to learn that politicians in general are pretty bulletproof. Does not matter what side of the isle you are on, the other side talks of investigations and you get hearing after hearing
and nothing ever comes of it. A lot of theater. The Durham investigations went no where. The Jan 6 investigations will soon be an after thought. I know a lot of folks don't like Trump, but he is untouchable also, they all are. We will hear about
investigations about China, the Bidens, Big Tech and Media collusion/censorship, it will all go no where. I used to be disappointed with all this, I now accept it as a given. Investigations, special prosecuters, etc have largely proven to be a lot of
theater with low yield. I have a strong suspicion when this is all done, Hunter will end up totally unscathed. And if for no other reason, most politicians on both sides have dirt on their hands, you push too hard, you might end up he one being
investigated, Time wil tell, I say little will come of all these investigations, in the meantime, I wish the new speaker well, maybe he learned something about compromise during the nomination process, and maybe both sides can listen better to each
other. Each side has something to offer, and we need a two party system to keep each extreme in check.

While I understand your skepticism, I also remember the investigations into Nixon, and we know how that turned out! And you can add Spiro to that list.

I wish I was not so skeptical. With Nixon, yes in the end he got caught. He resigned in disgrace, but he was pardoned in the end. And for what reason, didn''t Ford say something to the effect of saving Americans from the pain of it all.

Look at the Warren Commission,, the 9/11 Commission, what came out of these really? There are more questions today about both of these then ever. What about the investigations about Fast and Furious, the IRS harassment of conservatives, it all went no
where. And in my mind, maybe the biggest of all time, the Iran Contra Scandal. I am telling you Tommy, this was treason pure and simple, and Reagan should have been impeached and removed. Amazing, how today that whole affair has been forgotten, no
one talks about it, the young folks probably know nothing, that was a total disgrace. Will there EVER be a hearing to identify where the Covid-virus came from, and why the US was involved with that lab in China. I doubt it, but we sure need answers.
Just a few examples. It will be interesting to see where these next round of investigations go.

Sometimes it seems that the effort is all just a waste of time, but I know that good things mostly happen after expending a great deal of effort. The alternative is to surrender to the libtards, which is what they want.
