Last week I posted the complete standings and results from the 1993 World Ultimate Club Championships, which were held in Madison, Wisconsin, during the last week of July.
If you missed the posting and would like the results, please send me an
email message with your request. Specify whether you would like the files with tab-separated or comma-separated values. The standings are about 100 lines, while the results (of all 443 games) is close to 630 lines.
I would also like to point out that the processing of schedules and results during the WUCC'93 were the fruits of a herculean effort on the part the Chris "Skinny" Skindzier and Dave Rhude. (Skinny would have been playing
with Panic but he broke his collarbone the week before the tournament).
As a tournament organizier, I realized
only rather late in the process that tracking the results of 443 games
would be no minor task, but Dave and Chris came through huge during the
    week of the tournament.
During the next few months, I'm hoping that Dave, Chris and I can find a
way to distribute the software from WUCC93 so that organizers of future tournaments don't need to find themselves reinventing the wheel. The
software consists of a relational database in Paradox on the PC and in Foxbase on the Mac. Tournament formats vary so widely that whatever gets distributed will require the user to be somewhat familiar with these
packages so she can modify them accordingly.
