as Ku-Band was primarily used for news feeds, sports backhauls, educational networks (PBS-X, Channel One News), special events & reports, wacky feeds, teleconferences & international channels. I wonder what the channel listings/satellite feeds were for
Ku-Band including the transponders? (post-May 1998 after the G4 communications failure) (SBS-4, SBS-5, SBS-6, GE-1 (used for NBC feeds), GE-2 (used for Primestar services), GE-3, G3R, G7, G8 SN-3R (used for HTS & local affiliate stations), SN4, T4, T5,
Canadian Anik E1, E2 (also used for BellTV and ExpressVu), as well as alternative satellites like Satcom K2, PAS-1, PAS-3R, Anik C1 & Ku-Band alternatives (Ka-Band, Kf-Band, K-Band) etc...)
They had virtually few satellites than its C-Band counterpart.
