Wow. I mean, wow. Researchers have actually determined that the
last time the earth went from mile-tall (and taller) mountains of ice
covering what is Chicago & elsewhere to the largely ice-free
interglacial we now live in involved -- now get this -- climate change?
This is quite remarkable. Somebody should throw another $20 million
at them to see if previous transitions from glacial periods to interglacial
saw a similar change in climate.
But what are the odds, huh?
