    I doubt it. But I do remember when an early 1980's major eruption screwed-up observing for some time. Lingering dust in the stratosphere. Purple sunsets.

    Not from a volcano in the Canaries, though. This volcano has a low
    explosivity index- it releases very little material into the
    atmosphere. I doubt it will have any impact on sunsets at all.
