Weiss shows several short aerial videos in which the sun never sets. Yet to the people beneath the airplane the sun is already beyond their perspective horizon and it is nightime in their location, even though the sun is clearly above the level of the
clouds. The sun never set for the entire airplane trip of hundreds of miles, yet to the people below it was night time for the duration of the flight.
Weiss shows more videos showing the sun shrinking into the distance without ever dropping below the horizon line.
Weiss also shows how sunrise and sunset are caused by angular perspective rather than a rotating earth.
