As usual, you are confusing horizontal, flat and level. Those are not
the same.
Then, you lie as usual.
Flat means no curve, and can be in any orientation. A wall can be flat.
A slanted roof can be flat.
Horizontal means a VIRTUAL, or IMAGINARY, plane tangent to the globe at
the observer's location. There are as many horizontals as there are
observers. Same is true for the verticals. ALL verticals converge at the
centre of the Earth.
Level mean a constant ELEVATION relative to the mean sea level, and that
level IS curved.
