• Einsteinians against Einstein's Space-Time

What scientific idea is ready for retirement? Steve Giddings: "Spacetime. Physics has always been regarded as playing out on an underlying stage of space and time. Special relativity joined these into spacetime... [...] The apparent need to retire
classical spacetime as a fundamental concept is profound..." https://www.edge.org/response-detail/25477

"Was Einstein wrong? The case against space-time theory. If Einstein was wrong, could killing off space-time theory help us better understand the universe?" https://space.com/end-of-einstein-space-time

Space-time is a corollary of Einstein's constant-speed-of-light postulate. If it is wrong and should be retired/killed off, the postulate is false. Simple logic.

"Einstein pulled all of these ideas together in his 1905 theory of special relativity, which postulated that the speed of light was a constant. For this to be true, space and time had to be combined into a single framework that conspired to keep light's
speed the same for all observers." https://www.livescience.com/space-time.html

Oh là là, what's going on, Einsteinians? Einsteinians:

Nima Arkani-Hamed: "Almost all of us believe that space-time doesn't really exist, space-time is doomed and has to be replaced..." https://youtu.be/U47kyV4TMnE?t=369

"We've known for decades that space-time is doomed," says Arkani-Hamed. "We know it is not there in the next version of physics." http://discovermagazine.com/2014/jan-feb/10-shaping-the-future-of-physics

So space-time is not there in the next version of physics but LIGO's gravitational waves, ripples in the nonexistent space-time, will be there, like the grin of the Cheshire Cat (otherwise LIGO fakers will have to go to jail):
