• Einsteinians Want to Make Sense of the Universe

"Was Einstein wrong? Do we have to kill off the theory of space and time to make sense of the universe?" https://space.com/end-of-einstein-space-time

Of course you do, Einsteinians. But first get rid of the underlying premise, Einstein's 1905 constant-speed-of-light nonsense:

"Einstein pulled all of these ideas together in his 1905 theory of special relativity, which postulated that the speed of light was a constant. For this to be true, space and time had to be combined into a single framework that conspired to keep light's
speed the same for all observers." https://www.livescience.com/space-time.html

Other Einsteinians who want to kill off Einstein's spacetime and make sense of the universe:

"Bye bye space-time: is it time to free physics from Einstein's legacy?" https://www.newscientist.com/article/mg24332472-900-bye-bye-space-time-is-it-time-to-free-physics-from-einsteins-legacy/

What scientific idea is ready for retirement? Steve Giddings: "Spacetime. Physics has always been regarded as playing out on an underlying stage of space and time. Special relativity joined these into spacetime... [...] The apparent need to retire
classical spacetime as a fundamental concept is profound..." https://www.edge.org/response-detail/25477

"Rethinking Einstein: The end of space-time. [...] Horava, who is at the University of California, Berkeley, wants to rip this fabric apart and set time and space free from one another in order to come up with a unified theory that reconciles the
disparate worlds of quantum mechanics and gravity - one the most pressing challenges to modern physics." https://www.newscientist.com/article/mg20727721-200-rethinking-einstein-the-end-of-space-time/

"We've known for decades that space-time is doomed," says Arkani-Hamed. "We know it is not there in the next version of physics." http://discovermagazine.com/2014/jan-feb/10-shaping-the-future-of-physics

Philip Ball: "And by making the clock's tick relative - what happens simultaneously for one observer might seem sequential to another - Einstein's theory of special relativity not only destroyed any notion of absolute time but made time equivalent to a
dimension in space: the future is already out there waiting for us; we just can't see it until we get there. This view is a logical and metaphysical dead end, says Smolin." http://www.guardian.co.uk/books/2013/jun/10/time-reborn-farewell-reality-review

"Must we topple Einstein to let physics leap forward again?" https://newscientist.com/article/mg24232260-500-must-we-topple-einstein-to-let-physics-leap-forward-again/

Yes but we must also topple Einsteins photon model if we want to move forward. Otherwise we can’t topple the nonsense of QT and the Big Bang. Light is not particulate.
And while we are at it we can get rid of the madness of the standard model. I notice the new scientist link above takes us to a recent article saying that “ yes once again our silly particle model failed. We just found another new particle where we predicted none would be”

Notice that waves of emr emitted by the colliding “protons” in the particle accelerator can be modelled in computer simulation to recreate all the observed “ particle paths” seen in the collision chamber. Including straight, curved,
spiral and positive and negative tracks. Yes it’s true.
Model in a computer simulation three wavefronts radiating
out in 3 dimensional ‘bubbles’ from 3 adjacent sources to simulate the event of
two or more particles colliding. Notice that there are only 2 points at which the 3 overlapping expanding wavefronts interact. And over time the tracks where these 3 wavefronts meet will trace out either 2 positive and neg mirrored paths. And depending on the configuration of the three relative to each other, one can get straight, curved or spiral paths.
In other words if emr is a wave only..it can still explain the observed “particle”
    paths seen at CERN.

Nima Arkani-Hamed: "Almost all of us believe that spacetime doesn't really exist, spacetime is doomed and has to be replaced..." https://youtu.be/U47kyV4TMnE?t=369

So spacetime doesn't exist but LIGO's gravitational waves, ripples in the nonexistent spacetime, do exist, like the grin of the Cheshire Cat:
