March 14 is Moth-er Day, a day for all those with an interest
in moths, and which is significant to me since I got special
signs from giant moths in I think the fall of 1995. If there
is any interest I could copy and paste my writing from then
in a followup to this post.

Actually it was very early on June 27, 1995, so it was
    summer, not fall, in Vancouver.

    I would be interested in:

    1. The signs.
    2. More description of the giant moths.
    3. What was your geographic location (Terran coordinates, What3Words[0]
    if you remember that specific)

It was pre-dawn on June 27, 1995, so summer, not fall.

I was working very late in the Department of Geophysics and
Astronomy at The University of British Columbia in Vancouver
when a giant moth, about the size and shape of a paper
airplane, came flying down the corridor (I guess from an
open window elsewhere in the building) and into the computer
room where I was working. I managed to coax it into going
out the window. As I did so, another moth, a small regular
    size moth flew in.

Then as I got the latest bus home to Kitsilano in Vancouver
and was walking home from the bus stop, another small
moth brushed against my left ear. When I got home I found
another giant moth, maybe 2/3 the size of the first one,
was inside my bathroom blind, and I again coaxed it into
    going out the window.

The first giant moth was shaped more like a paper airplane
made longer rather than wider, and the second I think was
more wider rather than longer, but I can’t remember for
sure. I assume they were both of the same species and
maybe one was male and one was female. The sign
was the coincidence of the two of them that same night,
along with the two small moths.

Beyond that I don’t remember the description, other
than that they were dark brown.

I still might post my writing from then in another followup
later tonight. It was on the Fumbling Towards Ecstasy
mailing list, mainly devoted to Sarah McLachlan and her
music. Not long after, someone posted from the tour
that a sound tent had been covered by moths.
