America used to be in love with "Capitalism", the system where everything--------------------
is traded including the land itself. To trade land like a commodity is a catastrophic mistake, because ownership will centralize and people will
be without freedom to start and live their economic lives. The Americans conquered / stole the land from the native Indians, and that is why it worked for a time. If you where unemployed and in big trouble, you could always "go West" and steal *other people's land*. Free land is key to
the economy, just as it was in the stone age already, and why trade
networks in the pre-farming era of humanity could work correctly.
When other people's land runs out, people go increasingly without free
land. The solution is to artificially create free land, by design and
law.
Thatcher said³
“The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of
other people's money”
This can be true or false, depending on the definition of "Socialism".
In the case where Socialism is defined as a system where people finally
get their individual free right to land restored, they pay taxes to
fund the Government, live by work and trade, the young, sick and elderly
get aided as needed, and controlling nearly everything by owning nearly everything is prohibited, you don't run out of "other people's money".
Incidentally, the same can be said about Capitalism:
The problem with *Capitalism* is that you eventually run out of
other people's money.
You run out of other people's money, because without land and options
they get forced to sell their labor at starvation level incomes, and
this is where the people get so angry that they will likely revolt and overthrow the whole country. They where not getting what they deserved.
The value which they would have gotten for their work in a correctly set
up economy (see above), is more or less extorted out of them by the Capitalist class. They are other people's money, to fund their greedy lifestyle.
This is how we see that humanity is ruled by shallow and meaningless propaganda. Their minds churn around with emotions rather than do the necessary logical thinking to get to the bottom of things (heh). Thanks
to this attitude of the great masses, we are on the brink of what will possibly become the worst war in world history.

You seriously thought the ruling class put all these nukes in order,
just for show ? How many palaces have they denied themselves, because
they want humanity on the brink of self destruction ? When in history
was a weapon developed, and then not used ? Nuking cities is nothing
new. People used to do it all by hand, by the sword. The Americans
perfected the art of city annihilation by bombing and then firebombing a city. The nuclear bomb is little more than an efficiency improvement.
The desired effect is broadly similar: the entire city is destroyed.
This kind of thing has been done thousands of years ago as well. It is
part of general and expected human behavior. Therefore it is highly
unlikely nothing will happen, that the nuclear and other weapons will be peacefully dismantled. Indeed it is obvious that if there was a time for such a devolution of the arms race, this time is now past. Things are heating up. The Empire is nearing its (financial) ruin, which may lead
to revolt by the people, and hence the need for war to protect the
ruling class.
How does Capitalism resolve an unemployment crisis ? Nuclear war ...
Such is the punishment for not caring, I guess. Therefore all is in
order. Creation works perfectly. The pain will be great.

If nothing happens after all, you learned some interesting things, which also strengthens your personal options.
