Hello, all. Accuracy discussions aside for the moment, I was wondering
how those inexpensive indoor battery-powered LCD desk displays showing
time, temp and relative humidity are somehow also able to display
outdoor weather conditions in the absence of any outdoor sensor data.

They might be able to guestimate the outside weather if there is a
pressure sensor. Better if it could track the pressure tendency. If
your instrument doesn't have a pressure sensor, any guess at the
outside conditions is just that: a guess, and probably a poor one.
