    Shee-mal means “left" in Coptic/old Egyptian language (not
    same as East though) which happened to sound similar to “Shamal" or
    North in proper Arabic, where the proper Arabic word for “left” is “Yaasar".

    are much more suggestive of abnormality and/or Disease

    ---------- Because 'shemaal' is the most common in Egyptian arabic and other dialects. · However, “yasaar" is the correct MSA word for left. ·
