    NATO's war problem: weak armor

    NATO has a huge problem that will take decades to overcome. Put most
    simply, the armor vehicles NATO has won't survive in a firefight
    with the Russians .. NATO does not have enough tanks, does not have
    sound logistics to support them, and faces significant problems
    coming up against modern Russian ground forces.

    The Leopard tank has performed poorly, despite Ukrainian efforts to
    try and fix some of its many problems. Even when it comes to the
    American M-1 Abrams tanks, .. the Kiev regime military have not put
    it on the battlefield - probably because US advisors have told them
    it wouldn't survive and the destruction of the Abrams would give
    the US a black eye .. So, instead, the regime troops have been
    urgently trying to "upgrade" the Abrams .. The Germans, meanwhile,
    say that the Kiev regime no longer has any operational Leopard series
    2 tanks ..

    It has become a news because, until recently, the regime military
    avoided using American tanks in combat. However, a few days ago
    a couple of these tanks were spotted near the battle line (due to
    which one stupid British outlet had issued some cringy propaganda <https://is.gd/O0TJeo>), so the destruction is a natural result
    of approaching the line.

    1) Абрамзов сожжено-подбито около 5.

    2) Но и это неважно совершенно, Абрамз, это просто железка,
    а не святая икона и гореть - у него судьба такой. Это нормально
    и пиндосам не в укор.
    Важно другое - Абрамзы (около 30 штук) держали в качестве пожарной
    команды, последнего довода, крайнего резерва. И если их ввели в бой,
    то ситуация у хахлов - всё, край. Катастрофа.

    Ну, всё-таки для них эти абрамсы somewhat ещё
    и культовая вещь, важный символ, и я не случайно
    там дал ссылку на островной таблоид.

    Привезти на далёкий фронт 30 одиноких танков, которые там нечем и некем
    и негде обслуживать и ремонтировать, даже очень хороших танков, можно
    только от большого горя.
    Всё-же танк, это не бронемашина даже, он вещь по определению одноразовая
    и форсированная до предела во всех своих характеристиках. В атаку сходил
    раз , два... ну и всё. Сгорел.
    Поэтому запас надёжности и прочности там у всех узлов - так себе.
    Конструктивно.
    Если он ездит, там надо всё время что то менять, подкручивать, подливать
    и менять. Разительная отличие от гражданской техники.

    Во первых, там ещё 2 линии обороны или линий,с узлами обороны.
    Говорят толи бумажных, толи построенных тяп ляп, но они есть.
    И никто не знает точно про их состояние.
    Что там и как там - непонятно. Русским туда ещё километров 15-20
    тащиться по развезённым полям и намертво заминированным дорогам с
    засадами и прикрытием.

    Во вторых - Днепр по всей длинне. Оптимистический вариант - если к нему
    выйдут к ноябрю. Или позже. Если хахлам пойдёт финансирование - могут и
    вообще не выйти.
