    On this date in 1966, Star Trek premiered. And the world was forever
    changed. It was supposed to be a five year mission. And here we are,
    FIFTY five years in. Here's to all the fans who have kept the love

    In my opinion, it's aged pretty well too. Still a good show, even if
    the special effects are a bit corny now. But the writing was pretty good.
