When I was in college learning Chemistry we did hand-art of ball and stick figures of molecules and also we did hand-art of the Lewis diagram.

However the Lewis diagram was a big mistake for chemistry is ruled by a Lewis 6 configuration , not a Lewis 8 diagram as proven by CO and N2 being the largest dissociation energy requirement. If Lewis 8 was correct, then O2 would have a higher
    dissociation energy than CO.

In my drawing I use the Axiom Principle of Atoms-- a atom exists only if that atom has at least 1 proton, 1 muon and 1 capacitor. Hydrogen H by itself is lacking a capacitor and hence H2 is the hydrogen Atom.

That forces Water to be H4O where one of the H converts to being a neutron-like particle to the other H which is a proton+muon.

The Water molecule as H4O in ball and stick diagram is thus:

    O - H2
    |
    H2

with a 90 degree separation angle, not 104-106 degrees.

The Hydrogen atom is thus H2 where one of the H becomes a quasi-neutron to the other and as seen in the sketch as a parallel plate.

New Physics and New Chemistry is going to have to get used to sketches of toruses with parallel plates.

AP's new profile photo is a hand drawing of Water molecule H4O, with two hydrogen atoms of H2 each.
