Review: I'm working my way through this book and, like many technical books, I am noticing a series of issues. In chapter 1 alone, there are review questions which reference material from the chapter incorrectly (HAIPE vs TACLANE, for example) or are
missing instructions (such as 'choose 2'). Likewise there are minor corrections which need to be made within the chapters themselves.

Not that it's here or there, but I vividly remember reading a technical book from another publisher which had a chapter repeated word-for-word, as well as another book from yet another publisher which had paragraphs copied and pasted between chapters.

My advice to anyone studying with this or any other technical book for the purposes of certification: in addition to the book, make sure you do sufficient self-study on all topics covered!

Review: I read through and took notes on this book initially to learn all of its acronyms, terminology and concepts. That took me about 3 weeks doing 2hr per day. It did an excellent job at clear, concise explanation and I loved the end-of-chapter
quizzes.
Then, I went through Jason Dion's video course - I was able to run through that very quickly knowing almost everything from this book, but it filled in some missing pieces in several areas which proved crucial for the test. That took an additional 2
weeks.
Using this book, combined with his course, I was able to pass on my first try. I honestly prefer this author's content/style to Dion's, but it just has some gaps which you definitely need to supplement elsewhere.
Overall excellent and couldn't recommend it more.

Review: I have been using this book supporting my preparation for taking the CompTIA Certified Advanced Security Practitioner test. I like the assessment test which helps me understand areas where I need more concentration. It also builds my confidence
knowing that I am progressing at a comfortable pace.

Review: So far, the book reading is good. I'm only a few chapters in, but it's not bad. I just wasn't happy that it came shredded at the bottom of the cover page for some reason. I'm shocked that the seller even shipped it to me like this. Where is the
quality assurance any more? I keep getting products from Amazon that are damaged and it's getting tiring.

Title: Errors but still worthy of reading

Review: Informational and overall good study resource, some topics aren't really defined. Also quizzes are not edited well. Some answers are in bold font and not even the correct answer. I do like it overall. I would recommend considering it's the only
exam for the 004 as of now.

Review: After reading the book cover to cover twice I felt the book didn’t touch on many of the items on the exam. Test prep questions were way off on subject matter and content. I would stick with the official material from CompTIA.
