I heard a caller over the radio or C-Span say to listen to the the two political parties arguing you realize that parties divide the Congress. 500 minds responsible to their own constituents would make more sense than two adversarial political parties.
Since sane human beings ultimately think alike. Just as the citizens of Taiwan do by seeing, as they do, the big picture of history. Every human mind makes sense. A mob thinking is an oxymoron. So is an atheist who says he is a Jew.

When the South with its slave economy in 1860 forgot the history of how things come to be. They separated from the USA forming a separate country where they could enjoy a slave wage economy by
owning labor rather than employing them just as billionaire corporations do by competing by hiring at slave wages.
By pushing God aside, the US Supreme Court pushed morality aside, and naturally voted for the economy of the South. The South said YAVOL, and separated from the USA, and enslaved human
beings, continued to be OWNED not merely EMPLOYED.
