People who regularly use laxatives are up to 50% more likely to
    develop DEMENTIA, study suggests

Over-the-counter drugs used to soften stool can lead to dementia,
    study finds

    . . .

Well, there's a "study" out there that'll support any
odd paranoia you may have .......

In any case ... likely not the lax per-se - whatever
causes THAT degree of constipation THAT often is the
probable underlying cause. Some kind of major mineral
    imbalance perhaps ....

BUT - wait for it - SOMEBODY in Pharma is gonna lobby
to make all laxatives PRESCRIPTION so they can charge
1000 times what they now cost .......

Seeing a similar trend in the UK relative to
    acetaminophen/Paracetamol .........

Old people get DEMENTIA and old people are known to use laxatives.

I think the people who did the "study" are 100% nuts.

It's blood thinners and proton pump inhibitors which disbalance the calcium channels so Lewis acid free radicals lead to increased prionisation.
