  • Pope - Celibacy Thing May Be DROPPED

    Priests may not have to be celibate in future, Pope Francis suggests

    Head of Catholic Church says he sees ‘no contradiction for a priest
    to marry’, in an interview published in Argentine media

    Historians say that Jesus guy DID have a girlfriend,
    and his 'disciples' were JEALOUS.

    The celibacy thing has been a "tradition" - but there's
    no real biblical requirement.

    Celibacy is supposed to separate the priest from the
    nasty old "real world" a bit. Alas it's always seemed
    to have driven them TO it, big time. Forbidding something
    basic creates huge motivation to DO it. Celibacy turns
    priests into pervs and the kiddies usually get the
    pink pointy end of that 'cause they don't know no better.

    Oh, ALSO, nobody WANTS to be the "traditional celibate
    priest" anymore. There's also a big push for female
    priests. The HRCC has developed a huge recruiting problem.
    No priests, no parishes, no churches, no MONEY :-)

    Grail. They live among us. Have you watched the movie "The Da Vinci Code"?
