#1 : Bahrain - 4012 cals/day avg
#2 : USA - 3868 cals/day avg
#3 : Ireland - 3850 cals/day avg
The whole top 32 consume over 3399 cals/day avg
The US FDA recs that males consume no more than
2500 cals/day. If you have a 'desk job' it's
gonna be less.
Central African Republic was at the bottom of the
list at 1641 cals/day avg - assuming they could
find any food at all.
Now I spent about a year at 750 cals/day because
my sugar was getting too high. It served its
particular purpose, but wasn't really "good" for
me on the whole. Moved back to about 1500 after
that and nearly zero carbs. Haven't eaten breads
or other grain products in five years now - just
"foamed sugar" IMHO - no taters, no rice, no
anything that's just disguised sugar. The "staff
of life" beats you down. (DO add multi-vitamins
however)
STILL put back on 20 pounds so, in theory, even 1500 is
kinda too much for the typical over-50 crowd. This is
the reality - not what everyone would LIKE it to be.
Sorry, no pill is gonna fix it all. Glut-out and DIE.
Hey COME ON ! 3868 cals USA ??? Life here is pretty
damned EASY compared to a lot of the world - you
ain't slavin' 12 hours a day in the sun mining cobalt
and lithium for the Chinese. No WONDER everyone is
so round and diabetic !
Oh well, the way Joe and the Wokies are going, won't
be long before you'll envy the LUXURY of 1500 cals ...
What day do they dispense the Soylent Green ? Yum !
