Officials confirmed Monday that a woman died near Yellowstone
National Park after being attacked by a grizzly bear.

Early Saturday morning, officials with Montana Fish, Wildlife
& Parks were notified that a hiker found a woman deceased on
a trail about eight miles from West Yellowstone, the agency
    said in a statement.

Upon investigating, bear specialists and other game wardens
discovered the woman suffered from "wounds consistent with
    a bear attack."

"They also found tracks from an adult grizzly bear and at
least one cub near the site.

    . . .

Yet ANOTHER dim tourist who thought the animals there
    were PETS.

Probably ran over to pet the bear cub ... I mean it's
all like Disney cartoon movies, right ?

She was working at Yellowstone although it doesn't say in what capacity.
Shit happens when grizzlies are around. However no bear spray or firearms
    were found.

The advice is to ALWAYS carry a .338 or .375 in
that environment, just in case, and be VERY ready
    to USE them expertly, QUICK.

"Bear spray" SOMETIMES works. But if she got between
a cub and Mama Bear the bear probably CHARGED in.
The decisive moment would have been maybe five seconds.

I lived in Grizzly Country for a few years. You do
NOT play with those things ! They'll gut you in
    a hot second "just because".
